I called a head of time and spoke to Brandy (fill in manager) and made arrangements regarding a graduation luncheon.. She was very willing and happy to make arrangements so we could be able to do the luncheon. And believe me i called around and no one was willing. She was amazing with giving me the options of food choices so I could staying with in my budget, and able to feed 15 people nicely. I really appreciated that more than you know, being a single mother and on a budget like the rest of us (I'm sure) She also stated to me that the gratuity would be 20, I told her not a problem I would be more than happy to do that! She spent the time with me over the phone and offered to put together a few items that my group could choose from. I was so excited and very grateful that she was willing to go above and beyond with helping me out, so my child could have a nice family luncheon for her graduation. ❤️
However, I ended up calling the restaurant and spoke to the shift manager Tony to let them know that we would be a few minutes later than plan. And asked to speak to Brandy, and he told me that she was just filling in and doesn't work at this location. 😒
I found out that she was just filling in, and didn't let anyone know of these arrangements, so Tony didnt have clue. I was completely appalled that after all that she said she would do, and give me hope that my child would end up having a nice luncheon. Just as we was planning.
Our group showed up and waited to be seated, Tony told me that he would make the accommodations and do his best to make it happen.
We ended up getting are waitress named Gaby, and seemed as she was struggling with our table and took a really long time just to bring out water and drinks. Tony was taken care of the table next to us, and NEVER once came over to make sure everything was going good. Most managers would come by to make sure your HAPPY and everything is going GOOD! I get that they was busy, and I understand that he had no idea of what Brandy said she would do. However provided good customer service she offered and is a MUST have.
We had to ask for refills, we had to ask for frys we had to ask for the rest of our Dessert, after Gaby walked off from our table when we was giving her our order, so she could go take another tables order.
I am NOT in the latest impressed with the service spending close to $200 and would have been more than happy to give a $30 to $40+ tip. But the service wasn't the best, and our service was on snail mode and took over 2 hrs for our food and all. Unacceptable in my opinion! I won't be going back and I will definitely not recommend this Red Robin either. My daughter is a server at iHOP right up the street and I am sure we would have received better service.
So I understand what servers and Mangers have to deal with. And was bummed 😞 with the service we received and even getting 2 of the burgers even was red and not fully cooked and not once was we asked if everything was good and ok. Completely disappointed!!! They could have provided better service because the large table next to us, sure did! Maybe because we are of color the treatment was different 🤔...
Read moreLONG REVIEW- If I could give this place no stars I would. I went with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and we were so excited for it because we haven’t gone in years. My first experience with Red Robin was FANTASTIC, with good food and service. So you can see where my excitement was when it was mentioned. The first red flag we saw was the moment we walked in. The hostess was wearing baggy jeans and she had a hoodie on with her hood up. She did not look professional whatsoever. She put my partners name down and told us the wait would be 15-20 minutes. The wait ended up being 50 minutes!!! We kept looking into the restaurant and there was NOBODY in there! The staff was running around and looking at it, it was just chaos. We almost decided to leave but they called out names and showed us to our table. Kassidy/edy was our waitress and the first thing she asked us was if we were ready to order. We had been sitting down for 2 minutes. She didn’t ask us if we wanted anything to drink and just skipped straight to our order. We needed a minute and she left for 10 minutes and passed us about 3 times and didn’t Acknowledge us at all. We ordered our food and decided we wanted an appetizer, so we ordered the mozzarella sticks just to try. It wasn’t until after we ordered our food that we had to ASK for drinks. She brought us our drinks and then came the mozzarella sticks. I was so excited to try them, but was met with a very disappointing outcome. The sauce was freezing cold and the mozzarella sticks were not cooked. It was like eating breaded string cheese. Our food eventually came, and my partner ordered the bottomless fries with garlic flavoring and they came out as regular fries with chopped garlic on top. Our food was underwhelming and my burger was undercooked. The food was lukewarm and all together gross. I ordered a side of onion rings and our waitress told me that they weren’t ready and that she’d bring them out as soon as they were done. I did not have my onion rings until 40 minutes passed and as we were getting ready to go. Our waitress never stopped by to ask if we needed anything, she didn’t take our drinks and refill them, she didn’t check on us. The other servers were wearing casual clothing and looked like they didn’t know what they were doing. She gave us our receipt and it ended up being $51 dollars for 3 food items. We were livid. The service was terrible. The food wasn’t cooked and was cold. And we ended up paying $51 DOLLARS?!?? I’m absolutely dumbfounded and we will NEVER eat at this restaurant again. I do not recommend this location. And if it’s like this everywhere, don’t waste your time and money....
Read moreWalking in the ambiance was just as you would expect for a Red Robin. As we were seated we all made choices off the menu quickly, Red Robin is a favorite for our family, and we’re ready to order. Our waitress, Amy, came and took both the drink and meal orders without writing anything down. We had to correct 5/6 meals this way. Our food did not come out together, the shake one of our children ordered off the children’s menu came and only filled half the glass. We had to ask for our bottomless fry baskets, which then took forever to come out, we’re talking after our food came and we were almost done eating, without the Red Robin dipping sauce that typically comes with it. We would request things from the waitress, as soon as the first thing was said she was off before we could request the second thing we may have wanted (generally a refill or a side of something). By the time we asked for a 3rd side in a row (request, retrieve, request, retrieve), Amy’s voice sounded irritated by us. The last time we were checked on we requested a refill and as another request was being made she walked away to get the refill. I ordered a salad, with no tomatoes as I’m allergic, had to send it back, got a 3rd if the way through it to discover a hair in it 🤢. The manager was great with handling this and the only reason that there is a 2 star rating. He was kind and handled the situation perfectly and was quick on getting the things we needed so we could pay the check and leave. At this point we had already requested boxes for our kids to take their meals home. The manager had our check and boxes to us within a minute or so of talking with me and everything was boxed and money in the tin, waiting for 2 full minutes, before the waitress came back with our boxes. It took what seemed rather long for our change to come back. I’m okay with having to wait a little for requests, checks, boxes, etc when a restaurant is busy, this was not. There were maybe 10-15 tables with gusts at them and only 3 others in the section we were sat in.
As much as we like Red Robin, will will not be back to this location. We will drive a little father to one we know we’ll get...
