Publix Weston Commons — Local services in Weston

The best part of this hotel is the people working there. The bed, pillows, and AC were comfortable. The new layout makes no sense to me. The vanities are small with no drawers with sink faucets that don’t overhang the sink far enough to not flood the countertop with water onto the only small surface to place your toiletries. I should never have reason to give that much thought or observation to a facet. I was told they’re all outfitted with the unmatched pair of facet and sink. Brilliant mess. Oh but if you xyz and place a washcloth at the base of the faucet… no.

The coffee maker can’t fit anywhere by the sink so it’s parked on the opposite side of the room where you find nothing resembling a dresser but instead an oddly long table or desk. There are no USB ports by the beds but rather by the TV. There are no luggage racks but a 2nd slightly shorter long table could serve as one if it doesn’t cause a tripping hazard to move it somewhere it could be functional. It otherwise nests under the other large table like decor.

There are smaller fridges in the rooms but no microwaves. You have to wait for the one functioning elevator to respond and go down to the Market by the front desk to warm up leftovers or such.

There are so many ways this odd layout saves a company money at the expense of basic comforts. If it were more affordable I’d just take note but for the price, I’m disappointed and will make note to not book Garden Suites moving forward unless the price is compatible with offerings.

There are few amenities other than the pool and workout rooms, that I took note of but I mistakenly booked through Expedia after calling the number on Google maps that I thought was the hotel # and I was expecting a lot more from talking with them than the hotel has to offer. I love Weston Commons shopping center. It has a variety of small upscale stores. There is a new breakfast cafe called The Little Hen. The Publix grocery store is one of the best in the area. Other restaurants and places to eat include Bonefish Grill, Panera, and Cold-stone ice cream. Pet supermarket, Sally Hanson and Publix liqueur store were some of the other stores in the shopping Centre. The shopping Centre is Landscaped very well, plenty of parking and well lit at night.
