I was a regular here have gone multiple times till today! Our waitress came up and ask if we would like chips and since we know what we want already. I did go ahead and placed our order as well. She stated she would be right back with our drinks but instead she was just talking with someone else at the bar. I requested a Corona and a cup with salt on the rim and a slice of lemon. She finally brings us our drinks but I notice that my cup has about an ounce of lemon juice! I go up to someone at the bar and tell them that I don’t need a new cup but that all I wanted was just a green lemon. Well for some reasons they bring me again the cup with an ounce of juice. I didn’t want to be annoying even though I did not like it. I decided to keep it that way. After that she brings our food and I notice two tacos that I did not order. I ask her what they were because I did not order that. She said YES that’s what you ordered. I clarified that I ordered barbacoa and she stated with an attitude that they did NOT have barbacoa and that BIRRIA was barbacoa because her mother in Mexico made it de RES!! I explained that I was Mexican as well and BIRRIA was not barbacoa that cachete was the replacement for it! Again I am a regular here and this was my first time hearing such a thing! Specially her raising her voice and rolling her eyes! The place was empty we were the only ones there. Meaning she was not being nasty from being overwhelmed with work! After going back and forth and her getting upset for me not wanting to keep the Birria tacos. She took my 5 tacos back leaving me with none. Comes back with 2 only and tells me they’re reheating the rest! Oh she really meant reheating because the rest came back dry and you can tell everything was reheated! AGAIN I do not complain and try to enjoy my food! At the end she sent someone else to bring me my check. I was charged $9.99 for a Michelada Colombiana! I made it clear that all I had was a Corona. They said well you requested lemon juice and salt. So that’s now $9.99! Since I have more class than them, I just smiled paid and walked out leaving a tip on top of that because the other employees where not at fault for her nasty behavior! Never again will I go to this place or even...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience. It starts with me calling prior to ordering delivery, asking how I can order sauces (picantes, salsa, etc) she proceeds to say she packages them automatically with every order and included chips which she called nachos. I paid $27 for food that was literally delivered on a cheap foam plate covered with a bag. Who does that? How is that hygienic and how does the health department allow this? I get if you’re eating there, or pick it up yourself in Mexico. But for the price and the hands that the plate went through, it’s gross. All my tacos were on the same plate, even though they were ordered as separate tacos disregarding any allergies my party might have. It gets worse, they never sent me any sauces that I purposely called to ask about, the consomé tasted like cinnamon water, the al pastor tacos had one flat piece of pineapple meaning you would only get the taste in one of the bites, the chips were so bitter from dirty frying oil. I called when I received my order twice as they told me they would add the sauces and no reply. It’s a hard pass for me, reviews seem sketchy. You can find way better tacos...
