I was a regular here have gone multiple times till today! Our waitress came up and ask if we would like chips and since we know what we want already. I did go ahead and placed our order as well. She stated she would be right back with our drinks but instead she was just talking with someone else at the bar. I requested a Corona and a cup with salt on the rim and a slice of lemon. She finally brings us our drinks but I notice that my cup has about an ounce of lemon juice! I go up to someone at the bar and tell them that I don’t need a new cup but that all I wanted was just a green lemon. Well for some reasons they bring me again the cup with an ounce of juice. I didn’t want to be annoying even though I did not like it. I decided to keep it that way. After that she brings our food and I notice two tacos that I did not order. I ask her what they were because I did not order that. She said YES that’s what you ordered. I clarified that I ordered barbacoa and she stated with an attitude that they did NOT have barbacoa and that BIRRIA was barbacoa because her mother in Mexico made it de RES!! I explained that I was Mexican as well and BIRRIA was not barbacoa that cachete was the replacement for it! Again I am a regular here and this was my first time hearing such a thing! Specially her raising her voice and rolling her eyes! The place was empty we were the only ones there. Meaning she was not being nasty from being overwhelmed with work! After going back and forth and her getting upset for me not wanting to keep the Birria tacos. She took my 5 tacos back leaving me with none. Comes back with 2 only and tells me they’re reheating the rest! Oh she really meant reheating because the rest came back dry and you can tell everything was reheated! AGAIN I do not complain and try to enjoy my food! At the end she sent someone else to bring me my check. I was charged $9.99 for a Michelada Colombiana! I made it clear that all I had was a Corona. They said well you requested lemon juice and salt. So that’s now $9.99! Since I have more class than them, I just smiled paid and walked out leaving a tip on top of that because the other employees where not at fault for her nasty behavior! Never again will I go to this place or even...

What a horrible experience. It starts with me calling prior to ordering delivery, asking how I can order sauces (picantes, salsa, etc) she proceeds to say she packages them automatically with every order and included chips which she called nachos. I paid $27 for food that was literally delivered on a cheap foam plate covered with a bag. Who does that? How is that hygienic and how does the health department allow this? I get if you’re eating there, or pick it up yourself in Mexico. But for the price and the hands that the plate went through, it’s gross. All my tacos were on the same plate, even though they were ordered as separate tacos disregarding any allergies my party might have. It gets worse, they never sent me any sauces that I purposely called to ask about, the consomé tasted like cinnamon water, the al pastor tacos had one flat piece of pineapple meaning you would only get the taste in one of the bites, the chips were so bitter from dirty frying oil. I called when I received my order twice as they told me they would add the sauces and no reply. It’s a hard pass for me, reviews seem sketchy. You can find way better tacos...

If you haven’t been to La Potranca Cantina & Taqueria in Miami, you haven’t truly lived.

This isn’t just a taco spot—it’s a sacred shrine to flavor. The second you walk in, you’re hit with that unmistakable aroma of sizzling meat, freshly pressed tortillas, and perfectly balanced spices that tell you you’re about to eat the best tacos on planet Earth.

Let’s talk tacos: whether it’s al pastor carved straight off the trompo, carne asada grilled to smoky perfection, or the juicy birria with consommé so rich it could bring you to tears—every bite is a symphony. The tortillas? Handmade. The salsas? House-made, vibrant, and fiery if you dare. The portions? Generous. The love? Undeniable.

But it’s not just the food—it’s the vibe. A lively cantina atmosphere that feels like a street fiesta and a family reunion rolled into one. The music is always just right, the micheladas are next-level, and the energy is contagious.

La Potranca isn’t just serving tacos. They’re serving memories. They’re serving magic. This is the kind of place that ruins all other taco spots for you—in the best way...

La Potranca Tacos and Bar in Weston is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Mexican flavors. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The menu offers a great variety, but the chorizo tacos are easily my favorite — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with that rich, smoky flavor that makes every bite unforgettable. The tortillas taste fresh and the toppings are always crisp and flavorful. Pairing the tacos with one of their signature margaritas makes for the perfect meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious, authentic tacos and a great dining experience! #tacos #weston #restaurant #foodie #review

The Piña Agua Fresca was good but a little too sugary and sweet for my taste. The Quesabirria taco was absolutely amazing. The Pollo chicken taco was a little dry but had good flavor the Asada steak taco was ok nothing special in my opinion. The Al Pastor was delicious. The marinade on it was nice and savory, and it was made on a trompo as it should be. The campechano which was a mix of Mexican brisket and chorizo and that was by far my favorite. The brisket was nice and seasoned and had a really nice crisp on it and the chorizo had an amazing flavor. They had some amazing salsa guacamole, and a few other salsas. All the salsas were good, but my favorites were the Guacamole and Chilanga. Tacos (on tuesdays) are $2.70 each except the birria and two other meats…. Will most definitely be making the somewhat of a regular spot for tacos! Definitely worth a visit!
