Terrible tasting minestrone soup were served today, paid $44.00. It was garbage tasting, not edible worthy. When I called to complain, the owner did not want to hear my complaining, she interrupted & had a terrible attitude problem, she did not let me express any negative, non caring attitude she had. You need to check your food before you take it home to serve your family , not worthy paying any money. I could have made the minestrone soup myself or go to Olive Garden minestrone & appreciate their caring customer service with respect. The owner Absolutely had no care, she had an attitude problem time 100%. No apologies, I had to hang up due to her nonesense,, no customer service etiquette, absolutely non compliance. I hope the department of health comes in and inspect low quality food being served at the. The department of health should come and examine this business for poor quality of food being served. Who knows what other unsanitary conditions this owner is doing behind the counter or in her kitchen. The Health department should definitely visit this business. Awful owner, with major attitude problem, not worth talking to her. This owner should not be given permission to practice or serve innocent public, all her pricing for food items are not cheap, they are highly priced, the owner no common sense, no respect, somebody needs to remind her that she needs to learn business etiquette, respect & let the customer talk before she rudely out of line interrupts conversation,. I love the food here! The lunch special is amazing as well, great lasagna! Really sad that I will NEVER eat there again :( I ordered lunch while at work to be picked up, upon arrival I was told my total (for one person) was $18, all due to a $9 soup-of which did not meet my standards. Please note that although I ordered a "cup" of soup over the phone, I wasn't informed until my arrival that only "bowls" were available. Being thrown off by the abrupt and unusually rude service, I left quickly but this unsettling feeling was hovering over me. I called into the restaurant and spoke with the manager who without explanation, told me to return to get my money back. Once i walked back into the restaurant- with my soup (that he told me to bring) he completely embarrassed me! As some have said, the location is.. cozy, so everyone can see everything, and he opened up the soup in front me- questioned me about not wanting it, informed me he would now have to lose this money, and told me if I could not afford the soup then do not order it! I was appalled! I have never been so humiliated in my life, and to think he TOLD me to come back to do this, in a packed restaurant. Poor taste and terrible morals. Sadly, we ordered pizza from them religiously, my little sister plays optimist sports and they were our go-to for feeding the team. Not anymore, we have found a new friend in doughboys pizza lol. I have never left any kind of reviews but I feel the need to so that nobody else spends $400 to just have to throw away in the trash! We were hosting Christmas Eve dinner and I decided to order a large tray of chicken francese and another of eggplant rollatini. I chose rollatini because typically the eggplant is sliced thinly and rolled up but instead we got the opposite. Thick slices that didn’t cook thoroughly, some of the chicken was also too thick and seemed to have not been cooked enough. The garlic rolls that came with the food were hard, which tells me they weren’t fresh as they should be! Fortunately we had other food options for our guests (prepared at home) because the trays had to be trashed as they were hardly touched! Each tray was over $170 so I decided to call to express my disappointment in the food. When calling I spoke with the person who initially took my order, he then handed the phone to someone else without notice, I then had to explain my dissatisfaction again to only be told that the owner would have to call me back. Four days later and haven’t heard back and don’t believe I will!! Do yourselves a favor if you want your guests to eat and enjoy the pricey food you are serving them, don’t cater your dinner parties from here.
