I'm Very disappointed with the customer service I received recently at this specific location. Being that I am an entrepreneur and shop at Home Depot at least 10 to 20 times per month, I had some items I needed to return. The cashier was assisting another person and I was witnessing her negative demeanor towards the man. I shrugged it off as I figured the man was probably rude & aggresive. So as she called me to the counter i set the items down and she asked if I had a receipt. I went to hand her my 8 receipts from the past couple days as not all items were just on one receipt. So she gave me a discomforting look and blatantly told me that she isn't going to scan all the receipts as she has other customers to attend to. Needless to say their was one customer in line and he was actually with me. At this point I was furious over her unnecessary response and I said I will take my items and go to a different store. She knew she was wrong and said she would help me so I held my composure and said I had 3 credit cards I use and could swipe them as an alternative. I swiped them and she began to scan the items. And of course, she decided to make comments about some of the items. Saying she can't resell them because a couple items had torn packaging and a threaded coupling had rust on it which I had bought it like that as it was too a previously returned item but it was the only one they had at the time. So needless to say, i was only able to return less then half of the items and on top of that she said all but one item was a refundable credit to my account. So she said she could only give me store credit. At this point I didn't care and accepted the credit. I will not return to this store ever again as I didn't deserve to be treated like I was a nuisance and not welcome to return items. If a person doesn't know how to treat customers with respect and carry one's self in a professional manner, they don't need to be working for a company that requires them to provide acceptable...

I am interested in trying out diatomaceous earth to deal with some minor bug problems in our house. I have read some good things that this product can be useful in some cases. So, I went into Home Depot to try to locate a bag of Diatomaceous Earth. My first thought was to go into the pesticide aisle. I spent some time going up and down looking through all the products and I was unable to locate it. I then used my phone to look up the product and I found some brands that Home Depot should carry. Because the appearance of the product looked like something that might be in the gardening section which happened to be adjacent to the pesticide section, I went into the gardening section and looked through some products in that area. When an employee passed by, I asked if he could possibly help me. I tried to read the name of the product off of the screen of my phone and he quickly grabbed my phone out of my hand to read it. He asked me what is this product used for. My hope was it he would have already known what it is since he worked in the gardening section. When I told him that the product is used to eliminate certain types of insects, he told me that such a product would only be found on the pesticide section. He pointed me back in that direction. I did go back to the pesticides section and was unable to find any employee who could help me in that area. Finally, out of frustration, I simply left the store without buying anything. After getting to my car, within a period of less than 5 minutes, I was able to find a well-reviewed product that contained diatomaceous earth on Amazon. Within seconds, I completed my order and I will have it in 2 days which is fine.    Read moreLike in every place, there’s people doing a good job and there’s people trying to do the bare minimum. Unfortunately the latter is the outstanding majority. I know there is a staffing crisis of people not wanting to work affecting HD. But the ones that are actually in the store have a higher demand for their help. This doesn’t mean that they have to actively hide from running into customers with questions or in need of assistance, this doesn’t mean that they have to dismiss you with that is not my department and to wait for the guy that will never show, this doesn’t mean that when you greet them they ask unfriendly with monologues. I dislike having to come to this place. When I have to, I come predisposed, I come knowing that I will be there an hour or more looking for someone to point me in the right direction or guiding me in the process. I am by no means a contractor but I have common sense l, yet I need help sometimes with the specifics, that’s why they are there for. Most of the times I leave the store, without having no assistance or having bought the wrong item because of it. Carlos the manager has bern able to help me before but he’s not always available or in sight as he might be attending another hundred customers in my same situation. I gave it 2 stars because of him and some other people. But at last, if you’re looking for a little exercise and run after customer service representatives, this is your place.
