Rugrat Resale — Local services in White Lake Charter Township

I have been consigning here since my kids were babies. So at least 6-7 years of selling and buying. My kids are to the age where I don’t buy a lot but sell more. I was not aware that they changed the cash out policy. You cannot cash out during your 90 day consignment period… that is not new but now you can only collect $100 per week of what you are owed for selling your stuff once your consignment period is over. If you are like me and you sell a lot of name brand and higher item stuff then you can rack up quite a total. This means I have to drive up there every week for the next 4 weeks to be able to get my money. That is ridiculous. You sell peoples things. You owe them a percentage. You have collected the money for it, you should be able to pay it to them all at once when it is due. This is no longer a convenient way to sell my kids clothes when I now have to drive 15 lint out of the way every WEEK for the next month to get what I am owed. Very poor...

Called and was told I could bring 10 toy items in to be dropped for possible purchase at anytime. I got everything together and the rude lady working there told me they are by apt. Only. They’re not accepting anything until after the 27th and she’s not sure who I talked to but that’s not the case. I told her they said I could bring 10 at a time and didn’t need an apt which is why I specially called and she seemed to back track a little and say well if it’s only 10 items we can look. At that point I felt like I was fighting with her so I just kept the items and am donating to goodwill. Hopefully the used toys will find good homes for the holidays! This used to be a great resale! As far as shopping there, it's nice but if you're looking to do consignment there, look around somewhere else. Some of the employees are friendly and some are just not friendly at all, which is a huge turn off for me. I'd rather do business with people who are pleasant and not feel like I am a giant burden every time I walk through the door.
