Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in White Lake Charter Township

Today after placing an online order waited over 15 mins from the given time for pickup, which seems to be a typical time frame whenever using this locations online option since they never seem to adjust the wait times in accordance to how busy they are. I watched as they finally prepared mine, then proceeded to put it behind the counter instead of in the Online order area, and for several mins I could not get the attention of the only two ppl working to get my order because they were so slammed busy. It's obvious they need more staff during peak hours as this is always a problem here. My smoothies are never as well made as the other locations either, they are either not blended up enough and have chunks of ingredients floating around, or they are bland. There have also been several times I have ordered a bowl and received a wrap instead. Unfortunately today's incident was the last straw for me. Even though this location is within walking distance for me, I will go out of my way from now on to the other two locations I frequent that have incredibly fast, accurate and high quality service...

I called to place a pickup order and they asked me to hold, in which whoever set the phone down before I could even say okay. -& (where I could still hear them) I got to their location and asked why they don’t answer their phone. They said it never rang. While I was standing in their store waiting for my smoothie guess what ... The Phone Rang!!!! So they definitely heard me continuously calling & simply just ignored it. Also, once I was physically inside their establishment they weren’t busy at all! There were two other customers and then me. In my opinion one of the 3 workers they have could have simply picked up the RINGING phone and answered it. Worst location ever! Drive down M59 a few more miles and go to the Tropical Smoothie location that’s off of M59 & closed fo Crescent Lake Rd. It’s most definitely worth the extra...

I ordered 2 cranberry truffles, add collagen, coconut and no added sugar. It took 4 minutes for the cashier to understand what I was asking for. It’s not the first time I have ordered this but it is the first time it was difficult for the smoothie bar to do. Then I also ordered food: 2 three cheese chicken quesadillas. One with an extra tomato salsa on the side. The other with no tomato salsa, but a chipotle mayo on the side. I got one chicken quesadilla and one regular quesadilla and 2 extra tomato salsas. I decided to bite the bullet and accept the one wrong quesadilla but I wanted the correct sauce. I asked the cashier for the right sauce and they wanted to charge me for it even though they got the order wrong. Not the end of the world but very...
