Re-upping my rating after visiting Mel and the squad after their move to White Lake! I can't drive 30mins every time, but am so glad they're next to my Pontiac Lake SP hiking habits, easily accessed from M-59, etc. Keep it up, y'all! (2021 review from their Farmington days) Mel is up and running after the coronavirus controls forced his closure, and I'm not sure I could be more glad for bagel bombs, local gourmet cookies, and one of my favorite decaf blends! Maybe not college town cheap, but everything he sells is uncannily delicious. So glad to have this within easy walking distance.

There was a good amount of delicious turkey and melty Swiss. The flavors were fresh and perfect with the crisp toasted sourdough bread. They even opened the sandwich after toasting it to add in the fresh veggies so they would stay crisp and fresh. I'm sure I'll be back!

where do i start here.. the coffee was really good. i had a hazelnut latte and my friend had an iced coffee and we split a cherry bear claw but was told it was an apple bear claw. prices are normal for a SB type of shop. The young lady who took our order was kind and the other young lady who made the drink was quietly making the drink. where the issue came into play was while we were enjoying our treat, the young lady who took our order had her boyfriend there and was all over him. very unprofessional and i suggested they get a room. For a small business owner who needs all the positive reviews they can get, having your employee hanging all over her boyfriend was disrespectful to the owner. (who was not there at the time) I'll go back and support small business and i hope the owner reads this and...

I strongly recommend that the owners rethink the bakery offerings. The few times I have bought something from it, it was inedible. This happened with a bagel bomb and another bakery scone item I got for my wife. She couldn’t finish it after a few bites. It was stale and overall bad.

You have premium prices but not even delivering mid level quality (or edible in this case). Unfortunately because of these experiences, I refuse to go back at all.

Too bad because it’s the only coffee shop around. I do find this strange because I get the impression that the owners care and were involved in the success of the shop. But I don’t understand how you could not taste your own bakery and know...
