Beautiful pieces I purchased to add to my ofrenda. I'm so glad I found this place by chance. I just happened to be visiting a friend at a nearby restaurant and ended up walking by this store. So many beautiful pieces. Pieces purchased: -alebrije (cat) -calaca sitting on a clay sugar skull -calaca holding instrument They also carry evil eye bracelets, which I also bought.

This place is super cool! It’s a latin-owned shop with lots of hand-made art pieces and jewelry. Apparently, they host a Frida Kahlo festival every year in July. I just missed it but I hope to go next year. The staff is very welcoming and nice.

The petite store hosted a "Frida" event July 14 on latina made crafts and other Frida logo items that were colorful, cute, and eye attractive. If you're into Frida, check the wonderful stuff inside this store!

I lived in Whittier for over 10 years and have typically had decent experiences here. I've made several purchases here over the years so I'm writing this review with some trepidation.

Back in December I came here with my boyfriend to select a Christmas gift. I found a necklace I liked, we made our purchase and as we were less than a block out the door my necklace broke.

I immediately returned to the store with my broken necklace and I was assured that it would be repaired. Sure, no problem. I left my necklace and returned to pick it up only to find it was now broken in a different location.

At this point I'm now in a time crunch as I am moving out of state shortly. I notified the store manager and had to return again.

Upon my return I expected to grab my now previously broken twice necklace and go but the store manager was yacking away with a regular client so I was expected to stand around. Being that I couldn't wait I asked if they will open later and returned another day.

This was one of the most bizarre parts. I was then passive-aggressively being told that they are not Nordstrom & I shouldn't expect to be helped immediately. Um.....really?

I'm all for being patient however, I'm also not one to respond too well to being schooled by business owners who if I'm not mistaken, without clients you have no business. This is not a difficult concept.

I had to return yet again because the designer had some emergency so my repair was not able to be completed.

Again, I am moving out of state at this point and I am offered to have my necklace mailed to me. Okay sure....since it's my only option at this point what other choice do I have?

I was given a free pair of earrings for the inconvenience and was asked to email my address to them.

I emailed my address - TWICE - and guess who still does not have her necklace. Its been over 2 months from my initial email and I have no necklace that was paid for.

I'm not sure what else to do at this point but after reading some of the other reviews here.....I'm not surprised.

If someone from the store can follow up on their emails and get my product out to me, it will be greatly appreciated. I will appreciate it even more if that product is not broken! Frankly though, if you had no intention of checking your emails why was that given to me as an option to receive my product.

The whole experience has made me lose confidence in this business so all I can say is enter and purchase at your own risk! Customers don't seem to be a...

I initially had an unpleasant experience as my order came broken and since I had never received a shipping or confirmation email, it seemed quite odd that I forgot I even had ordered anything. After realizing my order came broken and after going through history of my search data I finally was able to email about my damaged good. I did not receive an email in response but a phone call asking If I had received my item. Though it seemed there wasnt any knowledge of my item being broken or of my email, I think the initial call was just to check on customers feedback. That being said, after working in retail I have much appreciation for those who go the extra mile to assure customer happiness. It was more than I could have asked for, and being that phone calls have become prehistoric it was truly nice to know this small business calls their customers accordingly. With that I can excuse the lack of email confirmation. I only shop with Mexican-owned business for Mexican goods as being from Oaxaca is vert important to me, so I was more than happy to support this business when I came across it. Thank you Yolanda for the phone call, though it wasnt what I expected I appreciate it much more than you...

I went with my best friend to pick up an order she placed on Instagram, she had been communicating all morning with a lady who confirmed that her order would be at the store. We drove a half our out of the way to go to the store and when we got there. The girl who was working there had no idea of any waiting orders and when she texted the owner she didn't get a response. I personally think she should have called but that's just me. It was a complete waste of time and effort. Also, they make you use their hand sanitizer when you walk in the store which I appreciated because everyone tends to touch things in stores, but it was the...
