Note: Closed Tuesdays. We were headed to the Whittier Brewing Company, but it was so packed and noisy that we decided to visit the place that our friends order delivery from. So it's not really a second choice. We will visit the Brewing Co another time for a great tasting party. Looking forward to that.
Brickhouse is a wonderful family-run pizza and Italian joint. It's not too big, so our 4 person group could still converse without trouble. Staff is kind, courteous and efficient.
Sauces and soup are made in house.
Brickhouse has a huge variety of appetizers, salads, subs/sandwiches, wings, homemade soups, pizzas, calzones, pastas, sides, salad, drinks, beer & wine, and desserts.
I counted Over 100 menu choices. Over 500 if you count options. Prices are reasonable for what you get. You can get by spending less if you order smaller pizzas.
The pizza came out pretty quickly. It was Soooo good. We had thin crust with a very thick layer layer of cheese that held everything together. Half Hawaiian style and half vegetarian. We added wine and beer.
They deliver and you can use Uber Eats if you're out of their delivery area.

Read moreUpdate: My salad today 8/9/23 was mixed with rotten lettuce. So as before I stand by my reviews. And the chicken WAS undercooked. You can deny it but it was bad. My housemate orders weekly so when I said I have eaten these things many times in the past I wasn’t exaggerating. I’m leaving my reviews so Brickhouse will be aware not to negatively impact the restaurant but these issues are factual which is why I included photos both times. I’ve eaten here for many years but this year something changed. The last few times I’ve ordered chicken Caesar salads the chicken has been added while still hot which is disgusting btw and worse it’s still raw. Its texture is gelatinous yet it doesn’t fall apart while chewing. It’s incredibly unsafe particularly these days and quite frankly repulsive as well. Don’t let the bits of gold in the photos fool you. The chicken used to be fully cooked with real deep grill marks and not added warn or hot. Now it’s just scary and gross. If you zoom into the photos you can see it is not cooked thoroughly but rather still rawish. So use caution or order the fried chicken salad with...
Read moreTHIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW. Brickhouse pizza has been my pizza spot for the last six years, better then Shakey's or Alondra's pizza or any other pizza parlor. On Friday night (Jan 25) it was Brickhouse night! But boy, was I in for a bad experience. Business as usual, placed my order, made payment and was told it would take 45 minutes more or less. Long story short, my pizza and wings arrived three minutes past the hour. Pizza was cold, so cold the crust was hard as a rock and the wings were also cold and soggy. I usually don't complain, but I decided to make the call to inform them about my bad experience. The manager got on the phone and made it seem as though I was crazy or something. Offered me a medium and said I could keep the previous order (the cold food). Really? Thank you so much for letting me keep the order I had already paid for, great customer service. No thanks! Never having brickhouse EVER AGAIN. Don't go or order here, instead go to PIZZA 21 on Norwalk/Washington. Way better service,...
