I want to start saying that I am not a politically correct or easily offended person. I believe whole heartedly that everyone has a right to their opinions whether I share that viewpoint or not. I entered the store to send a simple item with standard shipping. Five employees in black and purple shirts standing on one side of the behind counter area, one representative helping other customers. I got into a line to approach a staff member - turns out Assistant General Manager lady named J (spelling unknown). J asked “What can I help you with?” I reply, “I just need to send this to Arizona.” She scoffs - points to overhead orange sign “It says shipping over there! This purple sign says printing. You’re in the wrong line.” I went without protest to the line for the only employee - and manager - who was willing to work. I stood in line for over 15 minutes. At about 14 minutes a customer came in behind me, carrying in a box marked fragile. One of the five non-working black and purple shirts approached that customer saying “If you already have the shipping label, I can help you.” I, who arrived first received no offer of help. When I finally approached the counter, the one working was polite, apologized for the wait. She quoted me the shipping cost. I would have proceeded with sending the package - however - at the counter I could actually hear the personal tome Assistant General Manager J was ‘teaching’ the five non-working crew. She states that “Gen X-ers are what is holding the nation together. Millennials get told to work and just kill themselves. Millennials can’t handle life, they all just run away and kill themselves.” I pause - she says “All I ask you to do is to say hello and stay with a customer until their requests are completed. If I can do it, it’s not worth killing yourself to do what your job requires.” So, I’m amazed - this very same J had shuffled me to the line on the orange side, in zero manner did she make sure my request was handled to completion. I also know of three Millenials who have committed suicide in 2018. It was NOT because they couldn’t handle their jobs. Two of the three were returning veterans who could not forget the traumas they witnessed while deployed in combat zones around the world. The third suffered from mental illness. I was unhappy at the cost of a simple package... however my decision to walk out was entirely based upon the arrogance, ignorance, and Do As I Say - not Do As I Do leadership provided by Assistant Manager J. I drove to a different location to ship my package. This is a one-time event, and everyone has days when their performance is less than desired. J left a horrible impression - perhaps a reassignment to a non-customer...
Read moreI was sending back a package on 3/22/25. from the location on East Kellogg drive, he scanned the bar code and asked what I was returning I told him ammunition he then said he could not accept the package and told me to take it to the main distribution office near 50th street and Webb Rd. I went to that facility and the customer service woman was mean, I told her I was told to bring the package here and have the QR code scanned, she said she cannot do that and could only accept the package I asked if the label could be printed, she got even more upset and said no without any explanation also she never once looked at the label,. She was rude and laughed when I told her I was going back to East Kellogg drive for the printed label. I went back there, and he said the label was already on the box, earlier he never told me he replaced the label. I even asked before leaving earlier in the day if they would need to scan the QR code he said yes. He defiantly should have told me earlier he put the new label on the box and all I needed to do was drop off the package at the distribution center. I then had to drive all the way back out to the distribution center. The lady at the distribution center instead of being rude and mean could have looked more closely at the label or even asked me questions as to what the man did, and all of this could have been done correctly. This is a good example of people not caring and not doing their...
Read moreI shipped a package at this location in September 2023. After I found out it needed to be there sooner, I asked the lady working if I can change the shipping to get it there faster. She said it would be no problem, they would reverse the previous transaction and charge me for the new price. My bank statemen showed the original charge, the reversal, and the new charge. Two weeks later, I get another pending charge for the original shipping amount. I contacted FedEx and was immediately told to dispute the transaction with my bank. I contacted my bank to file a dispute. Finally in December 2023 (after much back and forth between my bank and FedEx) I'm told that FedEx says I didn't follow the instructions they originally proved to get the charge reversed (seriously?). So, it's back to the bank to explain that FedEx gave no directions and the original transaction was cancelled in the store at their POS device. I am honestly starting to think that an employee at this location used my card fraudulently. I strongly advise to avoid this location and FedEx if at...
