I do love the food at Chipotle. The quality is really great because the meat is not treated with bad chemicals so this is the only place for fast food to go for great meat. Everyone should be eating here and not at any other fast food restaurant. The only other good place for me I have found is a place on Orange County California that has untreated good meat and I can't think of the name of that restaurant anymore. The reason I say four stars instead of 5 is because they don't serve much meat. I have often seen when traveling for the past five years that men who order me to in front of me get twice as much as I do, and when I mention it the staff don't give me as much as they give the man. The experience at this restaurant there was no man in front of me so I just had less meat and didn't get even a full scoop. They are now in the habit of taking the scoop of something even like the avocado and then tapping the spoon maybe 6 to 9 times to get most of the avocado to fall off of the spoon so you're only getting half. This happens for the meat as well. Why are they not just taking the Spoonful and putting it in your bowl? Why try to give the illusion that you're getting a bunch when that you can watch them give you only half of what they picked up. It's pretty much like buying tuna today you're buying tuna with only half of the tuna in it and the rest is filled with water or oil but you're paying the same price as you did when you had the can full of tuna. Now when you drain the water out of the tuna the lid goes halfway into the can and it didn't do that a decade ago. It's the same thing with Chipotle striving to keep their costs down so why don't they train their staff just to take a smaller scoop rather than take the big one and waste time with every thing they put on the bowl to tap it till it's half the size? So they're wasting time they're wasting energy and they're not being honorable. I hope the CEO sees this and changes the fact that we have to wait sometimes in long lines because the staff are trained to hit the spoon 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 times to get most of the food off of the spoon. Can't we stop this nonsense immediately? If every man and woman who reads this would ask them please stop tapping the spoon and just take less on the spoon so you don't waste my time that would be great. Or better yet just give me whatever is on the spoon and stop wasting my time by tapping the things till there's only half. We need to speak up as customers. Why are people so afraid to speak the truth? We are in this mess because people do not speak up as a customer, do not expect to get good treatment, do not speak up when they don't get good treatment and do not stand up for themselves and for other customers who are standing up for the best service. This is all due to the majority of people on this country who are not standing up for Honor truth justice peace service and Divine love. Although the food is fantastic and everyone should be eating here, I am asking the owners of Chipotle to please improve the seating so it's comfortable. Please put padding at least on the bottom so we don't have a problem sitting even to have our meal especially when we're older like my friends and I are over 70 years old. It is so uncomfortable for us to sit, and that is a problem. This particular Chipotle the seat we wanted to sit in at the booth was totally filthy on the floor and I had to ask a staff to please clean it up right away and she did go over and clean it but they need to keep the seating area cleaner with the tables and the floor cleaned more often and...
Read moreUnfortunately This particular chipotle is the one closest to me. There have been times I’ve gone out of my way to go to a completely different chipotle but after working 11 hours today I didn’t have it in me. I arrived at 9:54 (12/20/24), mind you this restaurant doesn’t close until 11 on the weekends. Upon entry I was told that they were out of chips and shredded cheese. I asked if there was any way the cheese could be substituted for queso, to which the answer was no. I proceed be rushed through ordering my food by the person making it while the entire time the cook is in the back yelling back and forth with who I assumed to be the manager on shift about how they were out of brisket and did he really need to make more when there was an hour left before close. He said “we got an hour till close so can we all agree that I don’t have to make anymore? F it…if they want brisket we’ll just use what we have and thats to bad for whoever else.” To which the manager AGREED. Now I’m not even there for brisket so it’s not bothersome because I wasn’t going to get any anyway, but it’s the simple fact that your at work talking like this in front of a whole line of people. When it’s my turn to check out I asked the person ringing ( the person I’m assuming that was in charge/manager for the night) if at the very least they were offering a discount for there being no cheese and no chips. His response was I’m sorry there’s nothing I can do. So I ended up paying full price, listened to the cook talk crap, dealt with an incredibly rude employee working the line, and had to come home to use my own cheese and chips. This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with this type of ridiculous at this location…I rest my password and everything to come on here and let it be known that this location has TERRIBLE customer service. Take the extra time to drive to ANY other chipotle in the city, you won’t be...
Read moreI went to chipotle last night and spend 60$ for 3 bowls because of double meat! The man working the cash register with dreads first argued with the woman in front of us when she said to add a little more meat to her bowl. He stated “other chipotle workers don’t do their job and if they give you more then that they aren’t doing it right “while laughing, the young lady making the bowls looked so terrified while he watched over her shoulders. I just wanted to avoid the meat issue and got double meat so no issues. When he got the bowl to put the sides on top he barely put a pinch with and Attitude I had to ask multiple times for extra and he did barely a pinch more. Because I was already so irritated I just took it as it was and got rung up, and then I was horrified to a 60$ total . And when I asked him what was 60$ he was stuttering and couldn’t even explain why and kept saying 1.50 was added which I doubt 1,50 would add up to double of what I usually pay. There was a line and me being a kind person I didn’t want to just leave the bowl so I paid the 60$ he hurried and gave me my change and I just put it in my wallet . For how much I paid I thought I could have got more then a pinch of cheese and rice . But to another surprise I went into said wallet today and realized 20$ was missing from the change I only got 19$ back from the 100$ I gave him. Money was still wrapped up in the receipt. I’m so mad I now spent 80$ on 3 bowls . I tried to call today with no answer. At this point I will never go tot his chipotle again or even any if I’m spending restaurant money on horrible service and I have to ask multiple times for more, ima take the 20$ loss but will tell everyone I know not to go tot his location. Because of that one man. Instead of worrying about portions maybe worry about the customer service workers you have making you lose customers. Such a shame chipotle...
