For the price the food and service was dismal. My T-bone was tough like Jerky for the first quarter cooked well done, then middle was medium well done, and then all of a sudden it turn into medium rare, blood and all. The meat was pretty flavorless compared to other T-bones I have had and made myself. Also the filet mignon portion of the T-bone was so small I was blown away. It was really a bone in New York strip. I asked for medium for my stake. I'm okay with a bit of blood prefer a bit of texture to the meat but okay with a bit of raw in the middle. I ask for medium to be in the middle as it is hard to go too far each direction from there but some how they managed to go both direction all in one steak. That first bit of the steak was basically shoe leather that was the worst part, the other end getting a bit too bloody and raw for my liking not awful, was okay. Feels a bit like they aren't turning the heat up high enough to get that nice char while leaving the middle a bit softer. So their steak sucked. Brussel sprouts were pretty good. Cesar salad was okay, should forget the parmesean shavings though as they are 90% sawdust and only 10% cheese. I thought the asparagus was okay but my daughter swore up and down that the seasoning they usually use was missing. Waited the whole meal for the waitress to come back but we were done eating by the time she did. My daughter didn't finish her asparagus and was going to take it home to add flavor. She asked if they changed the recipe. Nope they just forgot to season it at all. Waitress was like sometimes they don't get enough on them. Nope these things were dry 100%. I guess it is a butter spread they put on them with seasoning in it. I am positive it was missing. Tasted just like it does at home when you steam them. Sweet potato was good, lots of sugar but it blended in well and if you don't want so much it would be easy to scoop some off before mixing it in. Basically there are a ton of other nice restaraunts that would be a lot better probably for less money at some. My daughter and I were joking we would go to Olive Garden before going here again. I like olive Garden but I also get that compared to really good Italian restaraunts it is pretty close to fast food. So I'm basically saying I would eat fast food before coming back...
Read morePlan to be here for 2 1/2-3 hours from start to finish. Started off by watching the wait staff kick the door not once, but three times to deliver food curbside pick-up. WOWZA, that was not necessary. That just shows how the staff and management does not care about whats happening at the restaurant. Not only that, but possibly damaging the property. They sat our party at a small table. We barely had enough space to move. We asked for a larger table and was told we could add the table next to us. We proceeded to push tables together and was chewed out by another waitress. Great, the door kicking and yelling at customers is the normal here. It took over 20-30 minutes to get our drinks. And another 30 minutes for our salads. The appetizers came out before our drinks did. The ones who order salads were half way through before out waitress came back. My husband had to ask for his French Onion soup. When he did, her response was with a sigh and eyeroll. My husband ordered the Longhorn steak Medium rare. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye medium rare. It took about another hour for the steaks to come out. The waitress handed out the steaks and did not ask for us to cut into our steaks to check the cook. She dropped them and left. When we did cut into the steaks were done. NO PINK CENTER. Our entire party order Medium Rare and we got medium to well done. Our waitress finally came back to check on us. We showed her our steak and what we order. She asked if we wanted another one we said yes. That's when it went from bad to HELL! The rest of our party saw what was happening and decided not to even bother asking for a new steak. We were not offered refills on our beverages, we had to ask. The waitress put a bread basket on our table and said it wasn't for us and picked it up and gave it to another table. The manager never came to check on the services. No apologies. Nothing. For starters, the door kicking should have been our first red flag. I'm not sure what's going on there, but the atmosphere was not pleasant. We understand there is employees shortage. We are willing to wait for good food and service. For the amount of money spent on the lack of professionalism from employees and the lacking in the quality of the food order. We will not be returning...
Read moreWe had issues.. our party had 7 people one person is gluten-free used the gluten-free menu as well..due to celiac. 2 people Diabetic Waiter took forever on getting drink order( over 10 minutes after sitting down and another 10 minutes to get them one of people needed to have something to drink she was having issues with dry mouth from meds. Item ordered from the gluten-free menu had gluten (the soup)he was sick for the rest of the night beer was ordered by my mother and boyfriend and asked to have it served with their stakes (meals) and the waiter didn't bring them until like the end of the meal My aunts stake was ordered rare and was medium well.. she didn't even eat it and had to grab her something one way home from a fast food joint The waiter only showed up like once during the meal we had lots of glasses empty from beverages for most of the time there.. We're new to Wichita, and this service was sub par, our old longhorn was so great never had issues like we had here.. very disappointed 5 of the meals were cooked fine and no real issues with food. Sad to say the 2 that had issues were the ones with medical issues.. Not sure if we will take the family out to here again.. I still tipped 20% because it's the nice thing to do with a large party but the boyfriend said I was too nice and he would of only done 10% because of the poor service and attention to details ...
