Hobby Lobby — Local services in Wilkes-Barre Township

Not like the old Hobby Lobby that was here several years ago. This is mostly decorating items - and NOTHING for Halloween 3 weeks before the holiday(!) This store is a larger version of Michael's with more styles of decorating items. I was happy to see they had public & easily accessible bathrooms. I don't like having to wander into the employee section of a store to take my child to use the toilet. The prices here were comparable to Michael's as well. I did not get to see what their sale prices were like though. That may be a happy difference between Hobby Lobby & Michael's. Need them from sweating so much at work that I go through 4 per shift. Dollar store had limited selection of synthetic only. they were flimsy and didn't catch the perspiration. big superstore had nothing, under five bucks place same deal. Hobby Lobby had like 3 dozen generic prints plus some copyright stuff so I got a Pac-Man a Batman and a bunch of others most were $1 each. Staff was awesome too! I just started going to this store this year as there wasn't previously one close to where I lived. Every single time, I'm in line longer than Walmart! There aren't any lights above the cashiers to know which lines are open. I watched people wait in line, only for the women to finally turn around and say she wasn't open. I initially went for the 50% off, which basically brings the price down to what it would cost at regular prices in most places. Also, you really have to look over their ornaments because many are poor quality. It was hard to find one's painted properly. All in all, this place is a last resort when I'm looking for...
