About seven years ago my husband and I purchased our engagement ring at Precious Gem and it was beautiful! Reggie used a diamond from another piece that fit perfectly into the Michael M mount I wanted. After some wear over the years the Michael M mount flattened and then split in half under my ring finger. I called Precious Gem and Diane took such good care of us. She helped out with insurance interactions and made sure we got the value of the mount and were able to salvage the center stone which was of meaning for my husband and I. Diane spent so much time with me (and we are not local) figuring out what will work best with the diamond and will hold - because I was clearly a bit hard on my hands. Diane and Reggie came up with a beautiful mount and made this custom for us.They are a first class, talented crew. Diane was always quick to follow up and stayed in close contact during the few weeks we had to wait for the ring. My boyfriend and I went in to look for rings. He wants me to pick out my engagement ring so we went in after I had heard good reviews about this shop. We walked around for a while as it was busy in there that day, it started to die down and we got behind another couple waiting for them to finish with the attendant. She finished with them and they left, we were clearly next as we had waited behind the couple for over 15 minutes and I knew which ring I wanted to see. Up walks another family, and the lady just ignored us and went to the next family walking right by us. I thought nothing of it until we continued to wait and the lady kept skipping us, my boyfriend even said excuse me and she just talked to the next person beside us completely ignoring us. We've been going to The Precious Gem for 10 years now and counting! Reggie is the only jeweler we use because the gems are personally chosen by him and his creations are unique and stunning. He also works with you on design, budget, type of metal, size and weight, etc. It's top notch service and we've purchased more than a few items by emailing them ideas after we moved away.
