Mayfaire Community Center — Local services in Wilmington

Each visit is always a fun time full of eclectic arrangement of boutiques, in a variety of different atmospheres. It's up to you which one you want to go in to 1st! I love that it's outdoor shopping. You can enjoy the weather, sit down on the slick chome black benches spread out for personal space. Also your ears will enjoy the jazz music that's playing from the outdoor speakers as you walk past the buildings. Close-by you also have a pond full of ducks also the upstairs luxury apartment adds an welcoming touch. The only down fall to the area: there are not enough changing tables for babies for parents to take their children. I believe they're bathrooms spread out but it's like at the very end of the shopping area. I wish there was a playarea or park for children but we can't be picky. It is still a favorite of wilmington folks...

Great experience! I don't go to the movies much anymore, but we watched in IMAX and the seats were comfortable and the room was spacious. It didn't feel like you were on top of each other. It also felt clean, which is a big plus these days. Many past theaters I've gone to felt like some hotels, in which they didn't feel like staff took the time to properly clean it and make it feel like you were the only one that's been there. I would've given it 5 stars, but the beer was too expensive and/or either the cup was too small. I just felt like I should get more for almost $9, but then again, it is the movies and everything's historically...

Great shopping destination to grab basically anything you need in one area without the hassle of fighting traffic driving to multiple locations. Several restaurants to satisfy most taste buds, movie theater, indoor trampoline, bookstore, craft/hobby store, popular chain clothing stores, coffee/tea shops, grocery store and pharmacy, shoes store, accessory store, jewelry store, high end name brand stores, specialty stores, too many great storefronts and features to mention. Take a stroll and look for yourself on the beautifully maintained sidewalks under gas...
