Anna did a lovely job with my wedding dress. I'd highly recommend her to anyone considering going to her! I wore a mermaid gown and it needed quite a few alterations coming from the shop. We shortened the straps, made sure the top laid flat in front (no gaps), added a French bustle (which she recommended based on the cut of the gown), took in the back, around the hips, ultimately made sure the fit was snug to my body! Anna was professional, affordable and easy to work with.

She even made it easy to voice my concerns. I find it can be difficult to critique people's work - but it is so important to the fit of your tailored pieces (especially a wedding gown)! She would notice when I rather vaguely gestured to something, and ask me what I was thinking. We usually perfectly fixed whatever I was worried about.

That said, there was one fix we weren't able to make. She couldn't take in the dress around my lower back/hips to my liking without causing some of the layers to dimple. Anna helped me speak my concern, addressed why it wasn't fixable, and even offered to make the adjustment if I insisted - though she advised against it. While I felt disappointed at first, it turned out to be the right call. The dress didn’t need to be taken in further—the dimpling wouldn’t have been worth it. Turns out, I couldn't have felt more beautiful on my wedding day!

Anna did an amazing job with multiple alterations needed on my wedding dress. Due to Covid, most bridal stores were closed, so I had to order my dress online. Initially, I was going to need to get sleeves added on to it, but when I received the dress, it was shorter in the front than expected. Many other seamstresses told me they could add the sleeves, but could not help with the adjustment of the length of the dress. When I called Anna and explained my situation, she didn’t say no like the others. I brought in my dress to her, and without a doubt, she told me she could fix it and do all the alterations needed. The price she charged me for everything done was a very good and reasonable price. When She finished with my dress, it was everything I was wanting and more. It looked so beautiful. It’s easy to tell she has a great attention to detail and actually takes her time to do a great job. Anna was able to help make my wedding day perfect. I will be contacting her for any future alterations needed, and would recommend her to anyone needing alterations as well. I would definitely give her more than 5...

I Picked up my wedding dress today From Alterations by Anna - words cannot express how amazed I am by Her work! Her attention to detail and her passion for what she does shows by the work she completes. She was beyond easy to work with and makes what have imagined and envisioned come to life.
