While we've generally had fine experiences at this location and the ice cream itself is great, the customer service tonight was deeply disappointing.
We arrived a little after 5:30 p.m. on a Sunday. The shop was quiet â just one other family inside, and two young employees behind the counter. They didnât acknowledge us right away, so I asked if they were ready to take our order. From the start, their energy felt off â distracted, laughing at inside jokes, and watching my teenage son (who has visible differences) in a way that felt mocking, like he was some kind of spectacle.
It wasnât overtly hostile, but it was uncomfortable â and unmistakably unkind. I chose to shorten our order and leave. Before Iâd even put my card back in my wallet, both employees had already disappeared into the back.
Could I be reading into it too much? Possibly. But as a mom â and someone whoâs had to develop a strong gut for these moments â it didnât feel like simple immaturity. It felt like subtle exclusion, and thatâs still exclusion.
Iâm not writing this to say ânever go here.â Iâm writing it in the hope that these young employees â or their manager â understand that small interactions matter. A smile, a moment of genuine kindness, or even just treating someone with normalcy can make a huge difference for a family like mine.
We wonât be returning to this location. Because in the end, inclusion and basic decency matter just as much as a scoop...

Directing this to the Owner /Store Manager of Baskin Robbins at Wilsonville. Your employee working on September 23, 2023 @ about 1530 hours refused to remake or refund the mocha blast I ordered- I requested this because the mocha did not taste normal. I believe you should perhaps check the concentrate pre-mix machine. I am a regular costumer and always have a craving for these drinks (I know the taste all too well). The response I got from him was not customer friendly. He pretty much said he did it right, and thatâs it.
He asked to use the same drink for re-blending! He asked what was missing (how should I know? for all I know your milk, pre-mix could be expired) Is it not a health concern to reuse the drink a customer has taken a drink from ? Did he know what my drink actually needed ? Did he taste it?
Simply - He could have remade the drink, but he didnât . The money was not my concern.
So my loss - $8.99, and now am driving to the Beaverton location to get the same drink. Iâll make sure to share with this friendly store owners what bad customer experience I had at your location.

Read moreWent in and have never had such bad service! Cashier named Oliver had the worst attitude. When we asked why he placed a regular scoop in a kids cup he says I donât know but thatâs a regular scoop. We told him his co worker literally just gave it to us in a regular cup. He said it was possibly a double scoop. Of course we said no itâs a single you all should be scooping the same and placing them in the same cup. I went ahead and asked for his managers number since he wasnât helpful and didnât care to explain and looked like he hated working here. And when I spoke to her all she could say was that he was right and did everything correctly and mind you this was after I said he had an attitude with us and worst customer service. So I asked her he did everything correctly even with the attitude she goes on to ask me what he did to elaborate. When I try all she does is interrupt me and wouldnât let me speak. I had to tell her many times to let me speak and just wouldnât let me explain what had occurred and how we felt. At the end she didnât care and said sorry but she also needs help with her customer service skills! If the manager canât give good customer service the employees...
