House of Pipes — Local services in Wilsonville

Im confused and a little upset at the moment. The employees have often informed me about price matching. There are dozend of shops in the area and one up the highways has the product I buy at a lower rate. However when ever I bring up the price, the employees always seem to get defensive and or argumentative over the proposition. Its sending me mixed signals. Do you or dont you price match? Because it seems like a big fuss every time I mention it. I buy these products regularly and consistently and In my opinion they are priced a little high here in comparison to many competitors in the area. If price matching wasn't an option then Id just take my business up the highway but this recent time the employee flat out refused to match the price of the other store so the logical thing for me is to take my business there instead. Its a shame too, because Id spend a decent amount of money here if not for the constant headache. Every time I inform them this store has the product a little cheaper, it feels like im haggling a new car. Its always the evening employees that give me a hard time. The young lady who works mornings with the dark hair always calls the owner who has always dropped the price which I appreciate and shes super sweet but the evening employees act lile its this huge issue and often tell me "they can only do it this once." Well that makes it easy for me to decide where to take my business. In the grand scheme I understand one customer may not make a huge difference but the reputation is what can damage a business. If you have a policy and its not honored, then it reflects on the honesty and integrity of the company. Best of luck and perhaps I'll revisit in the future but for now, I feel misled and treated poorly...

This is for the Wilsonville store- I really like the selection and friendliness of the staff. I would have given this a five star except the complete lack of knowledge of the vape juices the staff seems to have shown me. Me and my boyfriend have gone in multiple times and because they don't have flavor sheets for all the juice the staff helps out. Twice now we have gone home with juices we thought were one thing and turns out they were something else all together. I told the lady helping me multiple times, I don't like fruit in my flavors at all and I won't buy anything with them. She gives me Shijin's Phoenix Tears and I smell it. Slightly concerned I asked her again if there were any fruity flavors in it. She stated no. I went home and tried it.. I taste strawberry. I look it up and yup there is a strawberry cream finish. Another time my boyfriend went in looking for one thing and came home thinking it was what he wanted then opened up the box and it was nothing like what the staff had said. I really like this store, I recently started coming here from another vape shop. I would like to continue but from my experience I don't want to be wasting money on products I don't like because the staff has no way of knowing what juices are what. And because their binders of flavors are out of date not even the customer can gauge...

WOW! I just experienced outstanding customer service from DANE from the time I walked in the door. When I walked in and said my name before I could say that "I called earlier about a Vaporesso", he had them all sitting on the counter and began sharing information about the vapes and pods that was extremely useful and I had not heard before. I am older and I always appreciate when a younger person is respectful and kind. He was both. He was confident, not cocky and professional. I immediately felt comfortable. Before I left we opened the box and he walked me through the new-the-to-me features of the vape. He filled the pod, asked if I needed juice or pods and then I remembered that I did need pods for another vape I have. I also want to mention that I called more than 5 vape shops looking for this particular vape. They either didn't carry it or it was crazy expensive. There was a substantial savings buying the vape from House of Pipes in Wilsonville rather than purchasing it from a competitor. If you lose them as often as I do that can get costly! Great service! Great prices! Great selection!...
