My aunt has had her current mattress since 2009. She "inherited" it from my grandmother who passed away in 2009. She's needed a new mattress for awhile but convincing her to spend money on herself is difficult.

We first went to another mattress store (also with Mattress in the title) and the salesperson there reminded me of a typical used car salesman. This was her first foray into investigating mattresses and the first thing he did was take her to the most expensive mattress there was. When she told him the price she was aiming for he pretty much laughed in her face and made her feel ridiculous. The day ended in no mattress and a very irritated aunt.

Today we went to Mattress World in Wilsonville and met Brian Pham. Brian had just the perfect sales technic for my aunt. He asked her some questions about what she was looking for and then took her to the inexpensive mattress first, getting her a covering for the pillow on the way there. Then we mentioned she wanted an adjustable base so he took her to the least expensive in that category. My mom had bought an Aireloom mattress from them, so she had Brian show my aunt that one, which he did. He also mentioned that the floor model was available for a steal since a new version was coming in. But my aunt still wasn't sold.

He took her to another set of mattress mentioning that they were made locally in Tualatin. This seemed to be the one for my aunt. Brian had her evaluate two different firmness models and she found one that worked for her. He even went away for a bit so she could really try it out.

Brian then gave her the best possible price and told her exactly what came with it. I really like that installation and removal of the old mattress wasn't an additional fee. Brian made the sale! ...

As one who has suffered with a chronic pain condition for nearly 20 years, I came into Mattress World in Wilsonville with a tall order; honestly, a need that I wasn't sure could be met. As I shared my personal pain, and what I hoped a proper mattress might do, my empathetic salesman listened. He even revealed his own story of physical, mental, and even emotional relief after acquiring the right mattress. Ryan picked out several for me to try. He kept my price point in mind while making sure I wasn't wasting my time on a mattress that couldn't achieve the nighttime pain relief that I was hoping...praying for. Ryan was kind, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me pick out the absolute most comfortable mattress I'd ever experienced. He was patient, allowing me time to just lie there, feeling my body, feeling the comfort of the mattress, like a cloud, lifting me effortlessly, without pain!! Maybe I sound like a baby, but I'm emotional writing this. I've been so tired, because the pain keeps me awake at night. Ryan knew what I needed more than I did. I thought I needed one thing, but he led me to try something he knew would be better. He was also mindful enough to find and apply coupons, and discounts so that my mattress came $1 under my price cap.

Obviously, I highly recommend Mattress World in Wilsonville, and especially Ryan, to anyone who needs expertise, and compassion, plus a GREAT selection to choose from. You will be so glad you went to them! I certainly am!

Excellent store and service by David Glover. We had lots of questions and I was trying to find a King mattress for my back and hot flashes. David was very knowledgeable and had us try a bunch of mattresses before we decided on a Temperpedic. No pressure. All our questions answered thoroughly. Got some cooling pillows and an adjustable frame. Price was right and David kept in touch for a few days and called us on a Sunday to notify us our mattresses was in and we would be contacted that evening to tell us when it would be delivered and installed the next day. Delivery was right on time. The 2 people who delivered it and hauled away our old mattress and frame were super friendly, very efficient, wore booties inside, and cleaned everything up nicely. They really knew what they were doing. They set everything up, checked that everything worked properly on the adjustable frame and showed me how the remote worked.
