I got a fill done here about a week and a half ago. I had an appointment scheduled, and they did start right away, but things went downhill from there. I should have recognized the red flags and left. They argued with me about everything:

They told me the nail art I wanted would take too much time and be too expensive, which made me feel like they couldn’t do it, so I settled for French tips. I wanted pink tips, but they insisted my original nail art reference picture was purple and suggested I go with purple. It wasn’t purple, it was pink, and I wasn’t even doing it anymore, so I’m not sure why they were so insistent. They told me a French tip was a bad idea and that I should remove my current acrylics because my nails were yellowed and the French tips would show that. My nails weren’t yellow—I tried explaining that the yellow spot was due to my nail lifting and dirt getting underneath, and it just needed fixing. They didn’t fix it properly, and I’m still having issues with that nail. Eventually, they stopped trying to convince me I was wrong and started working on my nails. She filed three nails, then another customer came in. Without saying anything, she got up and started working on the other customer. I should have just left. Eventually, another nail tech came over and finished my nails. They were okay—not the best I’ve had, but I do like the shape of the French tips. One of my nails was sore and tender for about two days. Now that my nails are growing, I can see they gave me rings of fire on some of my nails.

Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, and it was way too expensive for what I received. I should have spoken up but didn't feel comfortable...

I visited the salon to have my hard gel removed. Upon arrival, I noticed that the staff appeared busy with their clients, which initially seemed positive. However, it became clear that many nail technicians were rushing from one client to another.

The salon's interior resembled more of a warehouse, with spa chairs and tables scattered around. Stacks of supplies cluttered the entrance and client areas, lacking a luxurious ambiance.

Cleanliness was a major concern. Drinks were stacked on bare floors and served to clients that were being kept in the main traffic area, and the nail brushes were reused by multiple clients. When I inquired about sanitization, I was assured they were cleaned, but it was evident they weren't. I ended up picking up a previously used brush, which I was expected to use for hand cleaning.

During the service, I informed my nail tech about a previous bad experience elsewhere that had left my nails thin. Despite this, she abruptly attempted to forcibly remove the hard gel, causing pain and a reaction from me. It was only when another staff member, possibly the owner, intervened that my tech became more gentle.

Afterward, my nail tech moved on to another client without completing my nails. I had to ask the owner to finish my service and provide proper moisturization.

I usually don’t write reviews and was debating writing this because everyone at the salon was so sweet to me but I feel like the two times I went I had a completely unprofessional experience. The first time I was pressured into get dip powder instead of acrylic, so I did and it came out lumpy. I didn’t say anything because I had already been there for multiple hours due to my nail lady kim dealing with unhappy customers. And meanwhile she put them on speaker phone and argued with them while I could hear the whole conversation..

A couple weeks later I decided I wanted to give the nail lady another try so I went to get a full set of regular acrylics instead of dip. I was questioned why I didn’t want dip so I had to tell her multiple times I wanted acrylic. When she started doing my nails I told her at least two times I wanted black french tip when she asked me… then she proceeded to start to paint white french tips. Not only that but they didn’t use a pink colored acrylic powder so the non painted part of my nail look see through and had to ask for it to be covered with a pink polish. The worst part is that she cut my fingers at least 3 times. And put RUBBING ALCOHOL over it when done with the gel polish. It burned. My nails turned out thin, lumpy and the length was uneven once again. She’s lucky I didn’t mind the color. I ended up leaving with them and filing my nails when I got home. And I had to pay...
