I absolutely love our HEB. We shop here 3-4x per week (kind of wish it was less, but alas, we forget things often). However, I have never had good success with the balloons/floral department. Weâve been here in Wimberley for 6 years now and this specific area of HEB has always been a problem. Firstly, they used to never have consistent hours and it was hard to find someone to help you. Youâd stand there looking around for a while, unless you luckily caught someone who wanted to help. Secondly, they previously had âkidsâ with attitudes working this area âmy husband once asked a staff member âdo you guys have helium?â during a helium shortage and the guy (probably high-school aged), replied âthey floating ainât they?â We laugh about it now, but pretty disrespectful and certainly doesnât make you want to continue using this service. Thirdly, today I purchased 10 yellow balloons and had a black â4â filled with helium there. The girl working this area seemed mega stressed and frazzled. When I said âhi there, excuse meâ to ask for help, she replied âyeah, whatâs up?â Really warm and welcoming (not). She was racing around and did apologize for the wait, but definitely seemed like she needed backup or maybe a break. Anyway, by the time I made it to my car with the balloons (not even INTO) my car yet, two yellow balloons had popped. Right in the parking lot. Whatever, I had two kids with me so I needed to get home. By the time I got home (6 min drive), the â4â was completely deflated. So the helium that I paid $16 for had obviously leaked out. I called and spoke to someone and they said to come on by and theyâd replace the balloons. So I come back to HEB for a second time and the same staff member tells me âwe canât replace the four because it wasnât our balloon, but weâll replace the two yellow balloons.â So the two balloons that were filled and belonged to HEB that popped were replaced but not the 4. Which would make sense, except that the two balloons she did get from the store and that she did fill, also popped. So the assumption that the 4 wasnât their problem is not only poor customer service, but very unlikely to be the case. Normally I wouldnât write a review like this, but this seems to be an ongoing issue. At least refund me for the helium that had leaked out in the 6 minutes that I had the balloon in my possession. I wonât be buying balloons or flowers from them anymore. Itâs always a hassle, poor customer service and way overpriced for...
Read moreI LOVE HEB! Iâm so grateful for E V E R Y T H I N G they do for Texans! I canât list out all the things HEB has done for fellow Texans and myself because it would take too long... I will say that a few things that stick out to me, one being when Harvey happened, their staff came from all over the state to help out in anyway they could. HEB was working literally around-the-clock to make sure Texans had their essentials. I saw HEB staff with smiles on their faces, remaining calm in the midst of complete chaos. Texans were just trying to survive. HEB had truckers lined up on the roads waiting to get in to Houston, to help! HEB gave away tons of food for weeks to anyone that was hungry, including breakfast tacos, burgers, and water. It was amazing to see!
Through Snow-apocalypse 2021 HEB made sure to give anything they could, including time, a helping hand and an eager heart to serve. They offered any information when they expected truckers, would help customers find something they needed, if it was available. And they stayed open as long as they could to make sure Texans had what they needed! An HEB in Leander literally gave away groceries. HEB is more than a grocery store, they are our neighbor - Texans serving Texans, selflessly and with a heart to serve.
I had lost my wallet once. When I figured out the last place I used my wallet & debit card was HEB. I went back and sure enough someone turned it in. Everything was there including my cash! I was so thankful!
Anytime Iâve had an issue with a curbside order like leaking milk, I call in to let them know and no questions asked - I get a replacement milk.
In my opinion, HEB is the BEST in the business. They have the âwhatever it takesâ attitude to make sure Texans have their needs met. Texans know HEB will be there for us anytime and we can count on HEB! HEB loves Texans and Texans love...
Read morelove this heb but recently there's been issues regarding employees and products. i go to heb probably about once a week, getting hygiene, makeup, or food products. i also work in town so it's nice to see people i work with or people i know here... but there's been an influx in rude employees and products just being bad/out of stock. the other night i was shopping with friends for some last minute items after work to which i go to check a body wash i hoped was in stock. it wasn't a needed item so i just went to look quickly. when i was dissatisfied at the lack of item being there and went to leave i accidentally pushed a product and made it slightly lopsided. a blonde lady in the aisle proceeded to be ugly with me, trying to make me feel bad for a misaligned product. nothing was broken and it was slightly misplaced, like tons of items here in this store. that has definitely put a sour taste in my mouth because now i don't want to go shopping in the beauty aisle and have a lady who was disgusting with me possibly be there "rearranging" already arranged items. she said she spends hours a day fixing everything in that aisle when 99% of the time nothing is actually done. on top of that, it seems like none of the fresh produce- specifically any fruit or lettuce product- is actually fresh and is moments from expiring. i've gotten a bag of lettuce, seemingly looking alright from visual inspection, be slimy and smelling when i get home with it. i eat lots of salads from this heb but they're all within expiry when we get them and half of the salads are never stocked or in a completely different section.
please do...
