Piper Dan's Keltic Shoppe — Local services in Winchester

We drove over to Purcellville to check out this Irish store. It was more than we anticipated. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and chatty. We tried to absorb all the interesting items but there is so much to see! Irish and Scottish apparel, nick-nacks, flags, toys, collectibles, figures, jewelry, hats, foods, treats, and much much more. It was especially fun for me that they carry Scottish items as well. The only 'odd' thing, for me, is that the store extends into a fully Western themed store. Two stores in one. The back area was loaded with cowboy hats, clothes, boots, Navajo jewelry, etc. But all in all a fun place to browse, and pick up some birthday...

I moved to Purcellville a few month ago and ride by this shop often. I finally popped in and am so glad I did! The shop is cozy, the shop owners are warm and friendly and the merchandise is incredible. I picked up a Princess Diana commemorative tartan scarf that I LOVE and I'm sipping on the delicious Irish tea sample I received with my purchase. The owner was so kind and hospitable! Offering refreshments, as well as knowing their stock down to a tee. For all the thoughts of going online and getting the same thing -- going in person isn't much if any of a markup. Their shoes were especially amazing.
