Keri had been telling me we needed to visit here and this was our destination for my birthday lunch and shopping day out.

The staff members were all solicitous and helpful, and seemed to have a fun camaraderie. They listened and helped us find exactly what we were looking for.

It’s one of those shops where “every time you come it’s like a different shop,” said Keri, because they get new inventory and stage things well quite often.

I was enchanted. I got a Starfish Project stainless steel ring inset with tiny cubic zirconia crystals; an intricately handmade card; a motorcycle pizza cutter for my son-in-law and a cat-shaped potholder for my daughter.

It’s the kind of store where you can stand in one spot and examine everything with fascination then you pass the same place as you’re leaving and spot something you didn’t see before.

I plan on bringing my daughter here because she loves social justice initiatives.
