It's always a ghetto employee in the store talking about how tired they are. It is absolutely too many BLACK lazy people at this location that dont want to work. I put in a layaway at this location and I needed my ID to put it on. When I went to pay on the layaway they gave me a hard time and wanted to see my receipt and id. I'm an expecting mother who put on over $500.00 in merchandise in layaway. Now someone who went up to the store and only gave them my number, paid the last of the money on my layaway and they let him take it off. Now remind you they never asked him for identification or the last receipt. They gave him my layaway and didnt even call me to ask if it was ok for him to get my things. To make a long story short, he basically stole my items and burlington didnt even admit to their wrong. They give me the person who put it on and been paying on it a hard time, but allow anyone to pick items up. They do not care about your belongings. I lost money and merchandise that I had for my unborn and had to start over from square 1. The store manager or the manager in duty did absolutely nothing, the other managers of layaway did absolutely nothing and corporate did nothing. The worst business ever. I hate this place. I will never give them another dime. I was robbed and all they could say is that they can't do anything about it cause they dont have the merchandise that they gave away that I spent my hard...
Read moreThis is not the Burlington Coat Factory I grew up with. That one was a class act and more like a department store. This one was more like Ross or TJ Maxx but more raw with lots of red signs. I went on a Saturday and it was like Xmas time with clothes everywhere... Like the store got shook up a little. I went there to find a coat and they had the best selection of coats in the area, but it was not easy to pick one since the aisles are tiny and I was stepping over clothes or moving clothes aside to see what was hanging beneath. After finally finding something, I went and got in line... A really really long line. After what felt like ten minutes (but was probably five) of me not moving more than a foot, my daughter and I gave up and decided to Co. E back another day. If our stuff was gone, so be it.
With the store as messy as it was, I'd hate to think what xmas is like at this store. I recommend you visit on a weekday... Probably in the morning or afternoon, as this place had a ton of people. I don't know if they were understaffed or just couldn't keep up with the crowd... I also couldn't see the registers so I don't know how many people were working the counter... But I'd say busy busy busy...and definitely some good deals. I will go back on...
Read moreUPDATE: NOPE NO CHANGE. I got in the long line and they're were 2 cashier's. Half way through I noticed there was only one. I thought maybe it was a bathroom break or something but idk. I left the items and left store. Will not be returning.
Open until midnight but line long and only one cashier. Many people working on the floor though but only one person on the register. Total of 5 ppl in line.... Just asked cashier what happened and the manager closed down all is the registers already. I've been in line over 30 mins and it's 11:45 pm now meaning all registers were closed by 11 or 11:15 at the latest. No consideration for those who are still shopping. Also, the lady in front of me sent her daughter outside but the daughter was not able to get back in until a customer came out. This means that the doors were locked before Midnight. I walked out of the store at 11:55 ish. Normally this Burlington is not bad, so this must just be a bad or lazy day for them. Margaret was great and...
