If I could leave zero I would Certainly,
I am deeply disturbed by the experience my family and I had at this store. Upon entering, we noticed the clerk outside smoking and lingering instead of being attentive to customers. When we opened the door (for mere seconds), she made a snide comment about âthe heat being onâ and immediately set a negative tone.
What pushed us to leave, however, was her utterly unacceptable behavior toward my autistic child. My child touched the flat penny machine, which is designed to spin, and he didnât even spin it hard. Yet, she belittled him with rude, condescending comments, paired with grotesque facial expressions, clearly intended to humiliate us. It was both unnecessary and cruel.
Her discrimination against an autistic child was disgusting and unprofessional. The way she interacted with us drove not only my family but other customers out of the store. We have always supported this business on vacation, but we will never return until she is removed from her position. No one who treats childrenâor customers in generalâwith such disdain deserves to represent any establishment, let alone one that serves the public.
If this is the standard of your staff, I am beyond disappointed. We will be sharing our experience with others to ensure no one else faces this kind of discriminatory and...
Read moreOnly gave one star cause I had to we went into today 5-7-19 and the old lady working the cashier was very rude. My 3 year old son was acting up some like any normal child and she kept making rude comments about him being spoiled after getting my smashed penny me and my son left and my husband kept talking to her and before he left she saw me and my son in the distance and told my husband we needed to "whoop that kids *" another word for behind. How rude she needs to straighten up her attitude or her boss needs to let her go. She also said the D word while my son was near. She needs to straighten up before she causes that store anymore business. If we go back we will make sure she isn't the one working in there if she is we will...
Read moreI'd leave zero if it was an option, that lady working was so rude. First off she was smoking on the job, second she acted as if the world ended because she had to get up from the bench outside. My son, who is autistic/non verbal touched the penny machine that has been there since the test of time and she acted as if he was going to rip the machine off the ground. Then proceeded to yell because the door was closing too slow. This lady should not be anywhere near a business or helping people, the owner of this business should be ashamed to have her on staff. We have always spent money at this store over the years and now we won't anymore if she is there. We were curious why people ahead of us went in and quickly left, now...
