in absolute shock right now. for context, we had the foot massages first then the hair wash. towards the end of the foot massage, our masseuses who had spoken decent english to us earlier, suddenly showed us something on their phone. it said, “we will not be doing your hair wash later, so can you pay us 100,000 dong tip now?”.
honestly, this kind of behaviour is ridiculous. we are already paying a total of 1,500,000 dong to the establishment, so why are we expected to tip more especially when asked / demanded in this manner? we tried to tell them that we did not have cash and we were paying the services with our card. however, they told us to let the counter staff know that we agreed to pay extra tips with our card. they were literally demanding us to tip them despite the sub-par massages we received. we would have tipped if we felt that the services rendered was exceptional.
additionally, they randomly came into the store stressing us and hurrying us to change shoes, clothes, sit down etc which made us start off with an uncomfortable and stressful vibe. the entire time i tried to sleep, i felt them just looking and talking to each other, which was the opposite of relaxing.
another point to note was that these 2 masseuse were dressed in semi night club clothes (???) which was …. unprofessional for a massage place who is charging high prices like this. one was wearing a tank top with her cleavage showing and both were wearing almost booty shorts. confusing especially because it was 15 degrees LOL 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
the entire experience was so uncomfortable and unlike any other massage experience. the manager stepped in to apologise and explain that asking customers for tips was against their store policy and that they would speak to the two masseuses.
we came in looking for a comfortable, relaxing massage before flying off but ended up with a horrible experience. i’m sure the reply to this will be about how they have apologised and explained to us but damn, i walked out of there feeling worse than when i stepped in 🙄😐
side note/ the girl who spoke really good english and did my hair wash was amazing in empathising with us and hearing us out. she was also super skilled in giving relaxing head massages which i tried to enjoy. unfortunately, i was still fuming from the earlier altercation that i could not fully enjoy and relax. thank you! sorry i forgot to get your name to give you the credit...
Read moreDon’t normally leave a bad review however I thought I needed to share my experience, as others have had similar, Me and my partner came here for a massage and for me to get my nails done, after reading the reviews I thought this place would be up to standard with nails, we got a Thai massage which was great! No complaints there, however my nails took 2hrs to do! And they was completely ruined, my nails were filed down so much they bent backwards so had to get them all cut short, now I take very good care of my nails, and they was at perfect length and strength , so for them to be filed so much they had bent backwards and go so thin was heart breaking, one hand is longer than the other and the French tip is just wonky, my advice would be to go here if you want a massage however go to a proper nail shop, as I do believe this place is not the best for nails, I was also charged an extra 200,000 VND for a French tip as they advised it’s a design, so lessened learned on my side, never cheat on your own...
Read moreI hate to write anything bad as the staff were lovely! I go for many massages/facials in Canada and Asia so I’m very aware of what’s good! First no soaking your feet or welcome tea/no post tea/drink or anything. I first used the bathroom before my facial and it was so dirty it made me grossed out for the rest of the session/thought to leave. They used a a store bought sheet mask on my face , I was blown away! Those cost 80 cents at a corner shop!
On the positive side the girl who did my facial/neck and head massage was very skilled and did a great job!
With better products for their guests and a cleaner establishment it...
