I’ve watched the reviews before coming here. 4.9 you can’t really miss it. I have to admit the food is quite good. Specifically beef and chicken cooked in bambou. But the rest ruined the experience. We said we wanted first salads then warm food. They did a mix for everyone, my mom got her salad 15min after us, we had the meat first .. all messed up. Then we had to ask each time for when the food will arrive.. 20min between each meal. The order was taken by someone then served by someone else, another person for desert which makes difficult to follow the table for the staff. Lastly, my mom ordered a caramel for desert. After we asked when it’s gonna arrive, they finally told us that they ran out of it. She ordered the crepe with banana and chocolate and when it arrived, it was strawberry ice cream on the top. The girl told us that the kitchen doesn’t have chocolate anymore so it’s strawberry. When I asked why she didn’t warn us of the change before, she justified herself by saying that the kitchen is on the 5th floor and that she just sees changes when she goes up to pick the food up. We said we didn’t want it and they let us eat it for free on the table. Bad and stupid service in general but food is quite okay so it balances. The environment is okay but not the best. You have a few tables on the main floor with the payment machine. The noise from the street is quite intense as you have all the cars and motorcycles just in front. There’s AC inside but not the strongest - fine...
Read moreA Delightful Vietnamese Culinary Experience – Highly Recommended!
I recently dined at this charming Vietnamese restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the experience. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable meal. The tasteful décor, with subtle nods to Vietnamese culture, created a relaxed yet elegant ambiance perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The food was absolutely outstanding. We started with the classic Gỏi Cuốn (fresh spring rolls) – light, flavorful, and perfectly rolled with fresh herbs and shrimp. The beef was tender and the noodles had just the right texture.
What truly elevated our evening was the exceptional service, particularly from our server, Dylan. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and he took the time to explain the dishes and their origins, which added an educational and personal touch to our dining experience. His warm and professional demeanor made us feel well-cared-for throughout the meal.
In conclusion, this restaurant excels in food quality, ambiance, and service. It’s clear that great attention is paid to authenticity and customer satisfaction. If you’re looking for delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a lovely setting, served by a team that includes gems like Dylan, this is the place to go. I will definitely be...
Read moreWe went there for dinner, but unfortunately, three of us had a very uncomfortable experience. One of the staff members asked where we were from and made a comment implying that we looked down on Vietnamese people. We were completely shocked by this and asked him again to clarify what he meant by such a question.
He responded that I hadn’t answered when he initially asked how many people were in our group. The truth is, I was having a rough day—dealing with visa issues and not feeling well due to my period—so I didn’t have the energy to respond properly. Instead, I simply pointed to my boyfriend and friend to indicate there were three of us. I had absolutely no intention of being disrespectful to anyone.
My friend answered the staff’s question on my behalf, knowing I wasn’t in the mood to talk. Despite this, the staff member seemed upset. I eventually tried to explain and said, “I’m just having a bad day, please don’t take it the wrong way.” But his response was, “I don’t care.” We were speechless.
Although we had already ordered our food, he told us that if we disrespected him, it meant we were disrespecting his country, and he asked why we were even there. We were so shocked by this statement that we decided to leave. He seemed pleased and even told us, “Please leave” we had no options had to leave...
