Wanted a massage at 9pm+ but the initial one that my friend wanted has already closed for the day.
We ended up at this massage place as it closes at 11pm and have good reviews. Indeed it is worthy of the good reviews.
Before service, they will serve you hot ginger tea, sweets and fruit (pomelo for ours). They will clean your feet. The masseuse also ensured to check with me if the force is alright. They did the required timing (60mins). I did foot massage.
My friend opt for body scrub service and was in the room. Her complaint was that she didn’t know how to on the shower head after the session and got to bathe from another water source.
However, we didn’t get additional tea after service as per some of the comments mentioned.
After the session, we were required to do a short survey rating (via paper provided by the mgr/cashier) on the service and there is a column for you to fill up how much tip you would like to give to the masseuse.
The masseuse did not force to tip on the spot and had already went back to their respective work zones after service. So we paid the tip by looking for them to pass the tip.
Overall still satisfied as the...
Read moreQuite disappointing. We booked the nourishing shampoo, which was advertised as including a facial and a head wash. The "shampooing" portion was a major letdown. Not only was there no head massage whatsoever, but the products used felt cheap and ineffective. The masseuse simply applied and rinsed the product without any attempt to massage or stimulate the scalp. This was definitely not what we expected, and it didn't feel good at all. When I inquired about the missing head massage, the masseuse told me she thought my neck was "rough" and that's why she excluded the head massage. This is unacceptable, as I paid for a service that explicitly included a head massage, and this was included in the price! To make matters worse, it seemed like the masseuses were just random people the receptionist called in when we arrived, not trained professionals. The whole experience felt unprofessional and not worth the money.
On a slightly positive note, the salon did offer a coupon afterward and attempted to make things right. However, this doesn't fully compensate for the initial poor service. I would still be hesitant to...
Read moreI went for a shiatsu massage as I read very good reviews on it. Being a massage therapist myself, I am not satisfied with what I received. This massage was super far away from a shiatsu (which should be oil-free, first of all!!) - it contained maybe like 10% of shiatsu.....
The therapist went to the toilet during the treatment, came back after some minutes, and yet again, finished my treatment earlier than 90 min. (It would have been totally fine for me if she had extended the treatment with the lost minutes. )
They get 2 stars from me coz when she used some shiatsu techniques, those were actually quite good and deep. However, I wouldn't call this as a shiatsu massage as I am talking about some small percent of the treatment...
And the oil-massage-part was just a joke... my clients would run away from me if I performed something like that.
(At the end of the treatment they give you a paper you can fill out, basically wanting to have reviews... with your name, writing it right in front of them... this doesn't really let you give your...
