Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Galveston

So they messed up my order again for the second time in a row. I ordered the French dip sandwich on sourdough but they made it on the pretzel bun. I had a couple of bite to see if I could deal with the taste but I really didn't like it so I had them remake it. I asked what they were going to do with the old one and of course they had to throw it away. Seems like if the store messed up the order, they could have offered it to me for the inconvenience. My daughter could have eaten it when she got out of school. They also substituted it with the smallest bun they have and none of the other locations ever do that. The manager, Shelly just kept making excuses about that's just what she's been told to do. What's the point in being a manager if all you can do is what your being told to do? You'd rather throw food in the trash instead of giving it to the customer that now has to wait twice as long to eat. Poor customer service. This if for the Galveston 61st St...

Party of 2 on a Sunday shortly after noon. 2 people waiting for orders ahead of us, no other customers when we entered. First the good: Both the sandwiches and salad were as expected from a Schlotzsky's. No issues here. Some tables still had some trash on them. Now the bad: We were told it would be at least 20 minutes since they had a huge call-in order that needed to be filled first. I asked why one of the other three workers couldn't assist in-person customers (like all other Schlotzky's, Jimmy Johns, Jersey Mikes, etc do) while the also worked on the call-in order. We were told 'first come, first served'. By the time we received our order, I counted 9 people had left due to the wait and there were at 10 others waiting in line to order or receive orders. Once the order came out for us, it was missing a sandwich. This is a manger issue and should have never happened. This is not the normally good customer service we expect from...

I am a huge fan of Schlotzsky’s. This was our 1st time at this location. We ordered through the app and service was great However when we got our sandwich last night I pulled two long hairs out of the middle of our $17 sandwich. (After reading reviews this seems to be an issue at this location! 😳🤢)

I’m not one to usually complain you can see by my google reviews. I love Schlotzsky’s and will continue to go on the rare occasion when we go near one but not this Galveston location! I highly recommend hair nets or putting your hair up so you do not have this issue in the future.

Then again after reading reviews it seems like they know they have this issues and clearly haven’t done anything to fix it! Maybe someone should speak to corporate, hair in food that’s a hazard.
