About two months ago, my sister and I came here for coffee. We were in a rush, so we used the drive thru. In my iced Carmel macchiato, I asked for "extra extra caramel" as every Starbucks barely puts any caramel sauce. She orders her flavored coffee. After we paid, we just grabbed and left (as we had somewhere to be). When we got a light down, I took a big swig of my drink only to realize I was drinking nothing but caramel sauce! I looked at the cup, and realized they filled the cup up, I kid you not, 1/3 of the way up with caramel sauce. Of course it's also 1/3 ice also, so there was BARELY any of the drink. My sister claimed they didn't even flavor her coffee. When we got to our destination, I called Starbucks to inform them of their mistake; I thought maybe someone in training must have done that. I spoke with the manager, and she told me "If you come back we will remake both drinks". I explained to her that we couldn't go back right away as we had somewhere to be right then. She took my name, and told me to come back in when I could and she would fix the issue. When we came back hours later, the same manager kept insisting that she remake both our drinks. This was hours later, WITH showing proof of the caramel cup.. the manager and I were going back and forth as we didn't need our coffees remade, we had already gotten different ones from our destination.. we didn't need any more coffee. She kept insisting before she handed us ONE (total, not each) card that was a "this one's one us". She explained to me that it was only worth $3.. I was tired of going back and forth with her. This manager was so rude and didn't really know how to deal with the situation. They messed up BOTH drinks, they should have given both of us a card of equal value to our drinks or our money back. I've worked at Starbucks in the past, I know how important customer service is to their franchise. I don't recommend this Starbucks. There is another across the street inside Randalls, maybe go...
Read moreWhen did it start to be ok to not have the change to give back to the customer after a purchase? First of all it wasn't like we paid with a big bill. 2nd it was still morning time but not too early for the staff to had gone to the bank and made a deposit and get the nessacery change .So we get to the window and I give her the money and the server tells us "by the way we don't have any change to give out." Let me just make this clear before I go further. I always tip way more for my two drinks that come up to 6.50 ish, the rest of the change and another buck or two, however I like that to be my choice and not theirs . This isn't the first time this has happened to me in some sort of form. I had stopped going on a regular basis a year ago because everytime i went they would not give me my change( coins) back rather just the bills back..well don't tell me its 650 somthing and i give you a 10 bill and you just give me my 3 bills back and let me be on my way , then just tell me 7.00 then. No estabishment dealing with money should assume thats ok. What is that about ? Does their staff not know how to count money back or do they fill its ok cause the customer is gonna tip them that change anyway? Thats just bad business, bad manners . Again, most people including my self was gonna tip the server most of it anyway but I sure like for it to be my decision and not theirs. Get a grip Starbucks, you're not...
Read moreBy far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life at a Starbucks. Sherrie, the manager is the problem!!! I’ve never been treated so rudely through a speaker in my life. And when I found out that she was the manager, all I could do was pray for the employees that are subjected to that hostile, negative and uncalled for behavior that I witnessed. Keep in mind. I didn’t even go in the store and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t. I was ordering drinks and food for my entire family on our first morning of vacation and after dealing with that type of person, I purchased my wife’s drink because I didn’t really have a choice on that one. Happy wife happy life. For everyone who has worked, does work or will work for that lady in their lives, I pray for you all, God bless. Don’t worry Karma, is undefeated.
P.S. The employees should contact HR at corporate because that is a truly hostile work environment that needs to...
