KBBQ Parrilla Coreana SOHO — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

If I could give 20 stars, I would without hesitation. We've gone to 3 pricier restaurants here in Buenos Aires this trip; Rio Alba, Don Julio, and KBBQ. For half the price of the other two steak/parrilla restaurants, KBBQ blows both of them out of the water.

First off, the attention the servers give you is hands down perfection. From the moment we entered the building, we felt like royalty. They took our name for our reservation, we went upstairs, and were immediately taken to our table, where another server quickly placed the hot coals for us. We sat for about 30 seconds when they already arrived with a plate of meats, rice, and banchan (the side veggie dishes). I've never had such fast service, even in my hometown Honolulu (where we eat Korean bbq like this often). The servers were all incredibly nice, well mannered, and fast. Table and restaurant were super clean, well decorated, and the ambiance was again, perfection. Noise levels were on point; no obnoxious music that we needed to yell over. We could talk in peace, but it wasn't TOO quiet; it was "just right".

The food. Oh my gosh the food. I regret not having the space to consume more than we did, because it was amazing. The rice, 20/10. The meats 10/10 (great meats, but I wish they had more korean marinated meats like Kalbi lol.). I cannot rave enough about the perfectly cooked rice. In all of the places Ive been to in Argentina (been here for 2 years...) this place had the best rice. Genuine rice, soft, fluffy, cooked to perfection. They nailed it. The side dishes were also delicious, but we wanted to save space for the main parts.

The servers were both amazing. They felt like our friends honestly! Super polite and classy, they served us without making any faces, or being rude or anything of the sort...unlike a lot of restaurants we’ve gone to here. They provided us with privacy, yet checked in with us frequently.

Again, I wish we couldve eaten more. One of the most delicious restaurants I've been to in this country. It was like going home to Hawaii. We ended our night with a melona bar, and it was the best dinner we’ve experienced in BA.

I had an absolutely incredible time at Korean BBQ-SOHO! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home.

The meat was unbelievably fresh and tasted fantastic. You could tell the quality was top-notch, and every bite was a delight. The friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect experience. They were attentive, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile.

What truly made the evening special was the owner stopping by our table. Not only did they help us cook the meat to perfection, but they also shared great conversations that made us feel like family.

Two of our guests were first-timers, and they were blown away by how fun and delicious everything was. It was such a joy to watch them fall in love with Korean BBQ!

La experiencia en este lugar es increíble desde el momento de la reservación. Por mi parte quise hacerla por la página web, pero como pedían TC para la misma, escribí al WhatsApp que aparecía en la página y muy amablemente me hicieron la reservación de forma manual.

Fui con mi pareja por motivo de cena aniversario y al llegar la atención es sumamente amable y cortés, la inmersiva a la cultura es inmediata. Fuimos por el tenedor libre de parrilla, quienes nos recibieron preguntaron si era la primera vez que vivíamos esta experiencia. Al ser primera vez la atención fue detallada y minuciosa.

Te llevan una bandeja con diferentes carnes, y varios platos típicos para acompañamiento, todo es muy abundante. La mesa se llena en su totalidad de verduras frescas, guarniciones agridulces y picantes. Vayan con la panza vacía porque todo es abundante y delicioso.

Viene directamente uno de los encargados o dueños y te atiende guiándote como utilizar la parrilla, el extractor de humo, como picar las carnes con los utensilios y cómo armar todo (es una experiencia de sabores y temperatura). Te detalla que es cada cosa, si es picante o agridulce, el nivel de cocción y el papel que juega el arroz como protagonista. Te explican porque en su cultura comen las cosas así. Ciertamente se nota que no sólo le ponen profesionalismo, sino corazón.

Los mozos siempre están de buen humor, muy atentos y eficientes. La atención al cliente en este lugar es impecable. No hace falta ni siquiera que vuelvas a pedir algo de lo que se acabe, porque ellos están muy pendientes y a cada rato pasan para ponerte de nuevo lo que se haya acabado. Incluso sin pedirlo, te ponen más carbón y te van cambiando la grillera.

La cerveza china de arroz es una delicia, excelente acompañante. La calidad de la comida es exquisita, ofrecen solo lo mejor. La música, el ambiente, todo está muy bien pensado y ejecutado.

Felicito a los encargados por el excelente trabajo que hacen con este lugar, por mantener a sus empleados felices.
