Las Delicias — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Food: Nothing, at all, like it used to be. This place was famous for the food and fantastic service. Celebrities used to dine here and, in the afternoons, you could spot writers and famous people at the bar, which is gone.

We ordered two of the fixed menus and they looked and tasted like nursing home food. The clientele, these days, seem to match the food. Very depressing environment.

Service: Slow. Senior waiters bring the food to the table, they tend to forget stuff, you have to repeatedly ask for the things they forget to bring to the table.

Atmosphere: nursing home...

I came here 6 months ago I would of wrote it a 5 star review. But I just came again the steak was undercooked the potatoes were burnt with no flavor, and the proveleta they did not put any seasoning on it. This place went down hill. I do not know if they hired a different cook but I highly do not recommend this place any more. Maybe I have been living in Argentina to long and my standards went up but you definitely can cook just as good as steak if you bought it from the carneceria and...

Las Delicias has been around for more than 60 years, it is a place where locals meet up from morning till night. You can see groups of friends chatting for hours on tables on the street. I just stopped by for a delicious coffee with a friend (nobody hurries you, you can sit there for hours.) The service is excellent, you can have breakfast, lunch, tea, a drink or dinner.
