This is the worst Korean bbq place I’ve been to. We waited around 40 minutes just to get some lettuce and kimchi refill. They don’t change your grill unless requested, and after that they don’t oil the grill for you. We waited for 15 mins and then my friend decided to go to the kitchen and get some oil by herself. Then we finally oiled the grill and get to continue cooking
They are terribly short staffed, the girl that works there is very nice and very patient and tried to communicate with me in English. I really appreciate her effort. But I can see she was working her ass off as they are so short staffed. Avoid this place at all cost if you want to have a good meal. We spend most of time reminding them about the missing items and waiting for them to refill the lettuce and garlic. We spend two hours here and only got one refill. Meat refill is fast but without the lettuce and garlic we do not want to eat the meat alone.
BTW, they only have four meat choices. And the brisket was frozen, with ice that you can clearly see. Not fresh cut. It is ridiculous that you have to wait for half an hour to eat at...

Mocozi, the latest of several Korean BBQ joints to open in Palermo seems to offer a more authentic experience. Their focus is on the high quality meat they offer on the menu, including a succulent and juicy brisket.
The banchan (Korean side dishes) assortment, was not up to par with the quality of the meat. Perhaps it was the selection that particular time I was there, the side dishes paled in comparison to fotos in previous Mocozi google reviews and was slightly disappointing.
Soup of the day was delectable. Excellent broth and a hearty ingredients.
The service is divine. Courteous and helpful. Good job on the service staff selection.
My only feedback is: ventilation, ventilation, ventilation! With that amount of smoke in an enclosed space without ventilation ducts, it gets pretty suffocating and stuffy.
Thank you and...
Read moreWe stumbled across this place on the way to another place and it was serendipity. This has to be the best Korean BBQ in Buenos Aires!
The quality of meat is was really impressed us— I have yet to go to Korea, but I’d compare this to Korean spots in LA. We paid 28,000 per person for AYCE (menu libre), 10% discount if you pay cash. This was a little pricier than the other place we were heading to, but the quality of this is so much better. I like that the meat isn’t sliced too thick. I love spicy, so I found that the spices were very mild, not spicy at all. The AYCE came with lots of banchan, soup, and rice. I think the location we visited (Guatemala 4516) is new(?), only open for a week or so so we were able to walk in for dinner. The staff was all very kind. Be prepared to eat lots and to smell a little smoky haha. We will definitely...
