Abu Hagop Sandwich — Restaurant in Yerevan

I love supporting Diasporan business especially, however, this establishment left a bad taste in my mouth--literally. The Francisco sandwich tasted funny (should've been my first clue) with some undercooked, pink chicken. The fries were stale, tiny and clearly leftovers that they wanted to get rid of instead of making a fresh batch. The next day I had unimaginable stomach cramps and pain, nausea and felt extremely weak. This lasted for a few days. I ended going to the hospital and incurred 70,000 drams of medical expenses. 70,000 drams for a 2000 dram combo deal!!! Worst of it all is I called them to inform them that I had gotten sick from their food and they told me that they have never heard of people getting sick from their establishment (lies, because a few people I consulted with told me that many people have gotten sick) and tried to blame it on tap water. Like seriously?!?! I am extremely disappointed and angry for their lack of concern, unhygienic practices and a complete disregard of quality control. This place has gone so downhill over the years. Ordered delivery and specifically requested no fries in our burgers. The delivery came with fries and cold. Called and said they made the error. The guy said to RETURN THE HALF EATEN BURGERS!!! As if they could have resold them. I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I literally told the guy that the burgers have been touched and already bitten into he INSISTED that they need to get our order back so they can send us a new one. They really expected us to starve until they came and collected our wrong order, made a new one, and delivered it again. Sandwich: I mean, this has to be the best sandwich I have ever tried in Yerevan, and I have been to many places. Their flagship sandwich Francisco leaves you speechless after the first bite. Just a fine touch of Syrian flavors and soy sauce makes you come to get this sandwich once in a month if not more often. DELICIOUS.

Service: Even though its a fast food place you receive an incredible customer service. Have been here many times, no problems at all.

Tips: As I Have said, you should definitely try Francisco, and you can also get their hummus sandwich if you are vegetarian, again...
