This is truly a great and authentic restaurant in the center of Yerevan. The food is delicious, with simple yet satisfying flavors. The service was excellent—our waitress, named Hamest, was very attentive and provided great service. A special thanks to her for making our visit enjoyable!
We sat in the music hall, which has an entry fee of 2000 dram. The band that performed was really good, and it's definitely worth visiting once for the live music experience.
However, there are a couple of downsides. First, before 7:30 PM, the hall can get quite noisy, which makes it difficult to relax. The lack of music during this time creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. The second issue is the strong smell that lingers near the entrance, likely from the kitchen, which sticks to your clothes and can be unpleasant.
Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend this restaurant for a visit. The food, service, and overall vibe make it worth checking out.

Read moreI recently visit Khamancha with my baby, and I was very disappointed to find that there is no designated parents' room or space to feed my child. When I asked where I could feed my baby, I was shocked to be told that the only option was the restroom. As a parent, I believe it’s essential for restaurants to provide a comfortable and hygienic space for families with young children, especially for something as basic as feeding. Asking a parent to feed their baby in a bathroom is not only uncomfortable but also not ideal for the well-being of both the parent and child. I understand that space and resources can be limited, but it’s crucial for family-friendly establishments to create a more inclusive environment. I hope Kamancha will consider providing a dedicated area for parents in the future, as it would greatly improve the overall experience for families...
Read moreSo disappointing, I don’t know what happened to this place, clearly they are having issues with management and staff turnover. Whoever makes the food clearly lacks adequate culinary training. There is no flavor and the food is really dull and tasteless. There were out of the wine we asked for and so I ordered a different wine and they brought out the glass with a piece of cork in it. The waitress was ok, but seemed quite overworked and ready to quit ( sign of bad management). On the plus side, the band was good and the bread is homemade and quite authentic in the taste. I wouldn’t eat here again, instead go to Sherep or one of the Tavern Yerevan restaurants. You’ll get much better service and the food quality will...
