MINA is an enchanting Italian eatery with Armenian accents. Its inviting patio, framed by greenery, is a sheer delight in fine weather, while the interior boasts a respectable number of tables for cooler days.
FOOD:
The heart of the menu is unmistakably Italian—pasta, pizza, antipasti, and classic desserts abound—yet it’s elevated by a clever Armenian twist. We indulged in a variety of dishes, and the pizzas were a revelation: Neapolitan-style, fired in a traditional oven, with a lofty crust and a delicate base generously laden with toppings. Our top pick was the mortadella with pistachio—though the truffle pizza fell flat, delivering more mushroom notes from champignons rather than that elusive truffle essence. Pasta, however, is where MINA truly excels: silky, perfectly seasoned dough enriched with abundant egg yolks, reminiscent of authentic Italian craftsmanship. The ravioli del plin with veal were a standout. Starters impressed too—fried artichokes with Parmesan were divine, and dishes like peppers tonnato caught the eye with equal merit.
SERVICE:
It’s a roll of the dice. At its best, the service is good—attentive waitstaff, well-versed in the menu, offer thoughtful recommendations, making you feel genuinely valued. Yet, during peak hours, it collapses entirely. The most you’ll get is a plate delivered unceremoniously, followed by a maddening wait—over ten minutes for the bill, surrounded by a clutter of uncleared dishes. A disappointing blemish on an otherwise stellar outing.

Read moreMina is a little gem in Yerevan. We found it by accident, it reminded us of Dalan on Abovyan street: a small garden with cosy romantic table setting with cosy lights and a garden feel to it. Mina welcomed us and we discovered an interesting menu with Italian and Middle East section. There are lots of tasty wines to choose from. We ordered several small starters and salads as well as the tagliata and soup. Every dish had a beautiful appearance and the tastes were very balanced and tasteful. The kind of attention each plate received is unusual for Yerevan. Not only from the chefs but also from Mina herself. It all matches the style and concept of the restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed every bit and second. Highly recommended if you like exquisite cuisine and delicate flavours with proper attention and love. We’ll be back since this visit was in early November on a grey evening, imagine how great it must be in warm summer with...
Read moreToday I had the unpleasant evening at Mina restaurant. Server was nice, however the issue was with the overall staff and how they handle situations with their customers. A situation was , a homeless person had entered the terrace and was shouting and not behaving in a normal way. And at some point he rushes and comes to our table, where I forcibly run from my seat as I was scared on possible outcomes. I totally understand, this can happen to anywhere or any restaurant, and this is not very much restaurant’s fault that this person invaded. The main issue is that NO MEMBER OF STAFF came to us and asked if we are okay, apologized or anything else. As the day was ruined, we just simply went to the cash desk and paid the bill. I’m really surprised on how the staff members treated...
