Please avoid this hotel if you can. The hotel is misleading the customer by proving untrue description of the rooms. We booked Junior Suite which was advertised as 38m3 but in reality you get 28m3 room (this room size was confirmed by the hotel). This is very misleading and if you raise this as an issue, the hotel will just dismiss it. We felt like we overpaid for the stay by booking that larger room while in reality you can different product that is being advertised. We had the impression that the purpose of this hotel is to trap the guests by misleading advertising and if you dare to complain about that, it is your problem.||||Also, hotel claims they offer free parking which is also misleading. What the hotel means it is a parking on the street. We had pre-booked the car park and one day we had to wait for an hour for someone to vacate a space on the street for us to park. Some parking places on the street are marked as just for this hotel but it is also misleading. When we asked to park on the marked spaces (for the hotel) we were informed that these parking spots do not belong to the hotel but to residential building opposite.||||We loved Yerevan and the hospitality of everyone in Armenia but this hotel is not a true reflection of the hospitality of the country. ||The customer service offered at the reception is just terrible. I have never experienced such a bad service. Please do avoid this hotel if you can.||||If you would like to overpay for the misleading service, go for it but my recommendation would be to avoid to...
Read moreWe stayed in Diamond for 5 nights. I was totally satisfied with the service and the room|Breakfast: the breakfast is delicious and the buffet includes everything you might want to have for breakfast. |Rooms: the room we stayed in was a double room with the view of the alley by the hotel. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Sometimes there was a bad smell coming out of the bathroom which we guessed that's to do with the age of the building. This can be annoying if you are so sensitive, but didn't bother us really. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were really clean.|Bathroom: the room we stayed in didn't have a bath tub, I don't know if the other rooms do, the shower area was really tiny. There was no room to move without touching the walls or the glass door. As I said before the hotel is an old one which has been reconstructed. So you still can find traces of the past in the rooms. The hotel provides shower gels, shampoo, soap and hair dryers but you need to have toothpaste with you. |Location: it's a ten-minute walk to the famous Republic square. We were so happy with the location of the hotel; close enough to walk and far enough at the same time to avoid the crowd and the noise. There also are great restaurants nearby.|The staff are friendly, helpful and they all speak good Englush.|Overall, if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Yerevan and you are ok if the hotel isn't a luxurious one, I definitely recommend...
