Lovely quick lunch on a cold day. Very friendly staff. Nice settings. Had a great chunky pie served on a plate with knife and fork. Washed down with a nice Chai Latte. $9. Good ambience and a good quick meal. What more could you want? Well, one improvement would be to serve the Latte in something other than the glass I had. Took some minutes before I could handle the 🥛, it was so hot (naturally) and I had nothing to insulate my hands from the glass. I had to use my paper serviette which wasn't a good substitute. The pie was locally baked and yummy. The Chai was lovely too. Read moreThis morning, we came across this coffee shop. At my first impression, I love its vibe a lot 💖 It feels tranquil, peaceful and nostalgic ❤️ We had ordered waffle with banana milkshake. They were both delicious! The waffle was crunchy, and smelled wonderful. It was only $15 but the actual dish was really enormous* (I think it was for 2 people not for only me 🤣). Read moreI volunteer at a neighbouring community centre and it’s always a delight to get a hot chocolate and one of their pastries during my shifts. If you’re in a rush, they have a lil counter along the footpath but I like to stand inside while waiting for my afternoon fix. They have a bunch of local art pieces for sale to admire and you can get up to date on upcoming gigs and shows with their posters showcased on the indoor counter.
