Update 3/7/25: Seems these guys don't really care about a negative review, it's the same copy and pasted response to every other negative review..
I filled out my information on that link and haven't heard back from them at all, so much for trying to "make it right"
Overall, pretty disappointing. Went last night for the father in laws birthday, upon going to order was told no lobster, no morton bay bugs, no blue swimmer crab and no crawfish were available which is mostly what we were looking forward to.. so we substituted those for alaskan snow crab and mudcrabs.. they were appalling, borderline juvenile, had quite literally zero edible meat in them. The shells were soft and claws were completely hollow, whatever meat was in them was completely dry and inedible.. almost like they'd been in the freezer for months and months then whipped out and overcooked.. The flower cut squid was over cooked and like chewing on shoe leather.. The pipi's hardly looked legal although tasted good, the mussels were good. The prawns were soft and like they were overcooked.
The language barrier with the waiters was borderline, we could hardly hear and communicate properly with the 2 of them.. we had to ask them to come over each time, otherwise we weren't getting served at all.
The manager tried to make up for it by discounting half of the drinks but still charged us $35 for the inedible mud crabs.. Still ended up costing us $390 for 4 people. The sauces, rice and eggs were great that's all I can positively say.
Severely disappointed on our 2nd visit there and won't be coming back.. dunno if just Sunday night was a bad choice or what but at the end of the day all the manager did was blame the supplier instead of taking accountability.. typical current Aussie food industry, can't even spend good money and trust that you'll get what you pay for.. and trust me, I'm not one that likes to complain but that ruined it and my partner feels awful that her dad was so...

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the kind and friendly staff. It was clear that they were passionate about providing a memorable dining experience.
The only minor hiccup I encountered was the difficulty in making a reservation. I understand that weekends can be busy, but despite calling numerous times over the course of two days, it was challenging to get through. However, I persevered and managed to secure a booking, albeit after some effort. I would suggest the restaurant consider improving their reservation system to ensure smoother communication with potential diners.
Once seated, the seafood feast that awaited us was nothing short of amazing. The variety and freshness of the seafood were exceptional, and the accompanying sauces elevated each dish to new heights. The chef's expertise truly shone through, showcasing their talent and dedication to their craft.
