Therapy Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Adelaide

Stairs are usually an indicator of a bar's cool factor, and Therapy didn't disappoint. Had a couple of amazing custom cocktails (I forget what they call it, but you give the staff a flavour profile and they come up with something for you). Very attentive service despite the bar being quite busy.

Despite my date and I being twice the age of almost all the other patrons, we didn't feel out of place. No atmosphere rating as we went on Saturday night and it was just a tad rowdy which seems to disagree with other reviewers' experiences. The atmosphere is amazing! Such a quaint space, dark sultry lighting, comfortable and beautifully simply decorated, a vintage vibe. Drink selection - the menu is divided into spirits, which is easy to read, there’s so many choices to choose from, all different, but also delicious. There’s also popular show references if you look hard enough (Brooklyn 99, rick and morty etc) The staff - the bartenders are kind, talented, and very welcoming. Even the security guard is a lovely guy! It’s small but lovely for drinks after work, or somewhere to finish the night after a wild one. 10/10...

It’s usually a great experience here, but we were left disappointed last night.

After being told they were sold out of rosè and a red (we wanted a bottle of wine for the table) we ended up buying a $45 bottle of sauvignon blanc.

Our friends who ordered cocktails got theirs shortly after ordering, but we waited around 40 mins for the bottle of wine, only for it to be a cleanskin (the bottle was label-free). We were also told it was the last one available, and no apology for the extended wait.

Does therapy usually sell cleanskins for $45? I’ve never seen this before at a bar...
