We’ve been coming here once per month for years. Wasn’t too bad. However there is now no cash register service and no table service anymore. Even if you’re dining in for your coffee. You need to negotiate the touch screen menu and hang around to pick up your order to then go sit down in the cafe at a table. It costs “extra” for table service on the menu - with “no” table service. Carry it to your table yourself. Now all this is fine for you guys in their 20’s who are computer savvy. But we’re in our 60s, 70s, and 80s. Some of us are on walking sticks. One of us is severely sight impaired. Way to go Alta. No table service anymore. No cash register person anymore. And our empty plates and cups were left piled up on our table while wait staff went past. I guess in their world we should prob clear the table off ourselves and return the dirty dishes to the counter where we picked up our coffee. 🤣🤣 Slack. No service. Sterile. Talk to the computer. While $5.50 is a decent price for a passable coffee, the flavor profile isn't strong enough to secure my repeat business. For maximum convenience on a tight schedule, Alta works, but I’ll most likely be heading to one of the neighboring cafes on Adelaide for a...

When I’m paying a premium price for a coffee, I expect the order to be taken seriously, especially when I take the time to be clear and respectful.
This might seem small, but it genuinely impacted my day. I didn’t get what I asked (and paid) for, and that’s frustrating.
I hope this feedback is taken on board. It's not about the foam — it's about listening to...
