I made an order of 2x2 bacon/cheese hotdogs (BCH) - I arrived at the store at the anticipated pick-up time. First I noticed priority was given to Uber Eats drivers shoving their phones in the receptionists face, regardless of order that individuals entered the store. I then patiently waited, and after a period queried the receptionist why that is acceptable and why they haven't asked me about my order (note: they were troubleshooting something on the phone this entire period, there was no alternative service staff).
When I received my order I was given 1x2 BCH, a comparative example is: if you ordered 2 pizzas and only received 1. I said this is not what I ordered. I was offered a free garlic bread. I declined the garlic bread because that was not what I ordered. I asked for a rebate (i.e. the order for free) on my order on the grounds this EXACT scenario has happened twice, in addition to past order inaccuracies. The rebate was declined, I left the store.
I then attempted to contact dominos to mediate. I could not. I was referred back to the store, and so went that route to resolve my complaint. I was met with resistance through-out the phone call regarding my complaint. "You left the store, we offered you free garlic bread, we have already refunded you". Completely negating the expectation of proper customer service, experience, or inconvenience. Eventually the manager offered to process the order free of charge within a 10 minute wait.
I then waited an additional 20 minutes for my order and during that time heard unacceptable remarks from instore staff. "yeah he's still here" - "he expected it for free". When you consistently underperform via inaccuracies with orders (e.g. if you pay for bacon on your pizza, you should get what you paid for) then turn around and complain audibly about a valid complaint? How is that acceptable?
Lastly after waiting over 30 minutes for my order (initial time, plus time to remake) I received a sarcastic 'You're welcome' from the store manager as I left the store. Prompting me to just throw the order into a nearby rubbish receptacle. Aggressive, yes, but consistent failure to provide decent customer service with a final back hand sarcastic comment?
Are you serious?
I am entirely interested in being contacted by Dominos, not the store, as they've proven they can't provide good customer service. The order number was: 670b5b81-a90c-43c4-b3da-4e6ba0aace91
This complaint will be furthered to ACCC if I dont receive contact from customer service outside this store (within 48 business hours). The store not only wasted my time by attempting to palm off goods I didn't pay for, but has consistently not provided toppings paid for in past orders. It isn't a stretch to assume this isn't a forward going issue, if, a marketing strategy to adjust costs/expenses for profit.
(Edit: Just looking over the other 1* reviews, there's probably enough information to warrant a health and safety check of the store. It's a shame that these checks are typically announced in advance so stores can prepare. But the photos really show that this store treats customers like pigs that will eat thrown together slop. How it is still in business? convenience and subsistence off of brand name that gained Australia's respect until there were few...
Read moreFirst of all, I buy from so many different Dominos stores across Brisbane cause my friend and family are so spread out.
I also used to be a dance teacher and manager for a non-for-profit. There would be 20+ teenagers coming from all over Brisbane to learn dance for free. Usually this happened near dinner time so I’d get bulk pizza boxes from a Dominos close to me at that time to feed the big group and myself.
I’ve visited and tried too many dominos stores but once I discovered the west end dominos, the other stores haven’t been able to compete.
You ACTUALLY do deep pan when I first ordered deep pan from you. When I ordered cheesy crust, the quality was exceptional. The amount of toppings I get every time is as advertised.
Sure, the service in store could do some work. It takes the young people sometime to come to the front because they’re so busy putting in their effort on the quality pizzas. But, Dominos west end, you’ve outdone yourselves on the quality of the pizzas you produce. I’m about to order a pizza from a store on the Northside and I just know it’s not going to be the same. You’ve placed yourself in the right spot of the cultural food hub of Brisbane. You deserve that spot.
Remember that people only usually give ratings when they have a bad experience. Good ratings don’t usually happen unless the person feels like you’ve really gone out of your way to get there. So, thank you for your hard work.

Read moreUseless, went to order doninos and ordered dominos by mistake only realised when she said the price at the end as it was expensive, just thought I’d wear it as we hadn’t had it in years, left really easy delivery instructions to call and not ring the apartment buzzer, even made her say it back to me, do not ring buzzer only call, as just put new borns to bed after ages of crying, pizza turned up to the guy just hammering the buzzer, then after the 3rd time on the buzzer when my girlfriend was racing down to shut him up he called, not his fault really as he had no delivery instructions, so rang the store and the girl who took it literally couldn’t give any less of a s**t, I was calm and polite and she basically hung up on me, what a balls up, at least own it and offer any sort of an apology, saying you remember me and blaming the print outs isn’t an apology just for future reference, pizza was average at best but I knew what I was getting into at the beginning with that aspect, positives we’re the delivery driver was really nice and knew it was a stuff up so he was cool..if I could rate him alone he’d have more stars, but seeing it’s rating dominos and you can’t go...
