Unfortunately we made a bad choice of choosing Escape Hunt for our next adventure. I really loved the experience I had at Escape Manor and I thought it would be the same. The curly hair staff was pretty boring and mean. The room was really badly planned, full of technical issues. Me and my friend finished all the rooms from escape manor without any technical problem. Escape hunt makes illogical puzzles and non-sense ways of solving them. The room “Treachery at the Race track” had clues a bit unconnected to the rest of the room, the first audio we had to hear 20 times to understand something, The quality was terrible even to my friend that is born in Australia ( English speaker). The second was completely impossible to understand and we stepped the because we couldn’t even listening to that properly. Those were just two of the many issues we noticed. It was a horrible moment and the staff didn’t even try to make it better. Morre expensive than other escape rooms and not even half of the quality. Hopefully they will make some...
Read moreReally enjoyed our first visit to escape hunt last week end. Is a little hard to find but once you do you enter a welcoming lounge area compete with comfy couches and board games - and clearly big enough for several groups at once. We were welcomed straight away by their friendly staff who looked after us really well throughout our booking. The escape room itself was well put together, complete story line, no issues with any of the mechanics or puzzles, well pitched at a challenging-but-possible-to-do level and they've thought of some nice little extras that encourage good team communication such as letter and clip boards with starting story line, white boards to write clues on and light switches in each room that don't need a clue to turn on (have to say it's nice to be able to see the clues / avoid the bickering over torches / clues due to lack of light not allowing more than one person to view). All in all one of the better escape room set ups, we will be back to try to other...
Read moreFulfilling my promise to leave a review for one of the best escape room venues + game master my friends and I have ever encountered! Shoutout to Bee (I hope we have spelled your name right; super funny staff member with long hair tied into a ponytail and has lots of enamel pins around landyard) — really professional, perfectly executed her role to hype us up for any room or adventure we are stepping into - so much so that we decided to book for the Blackbeard’s Treasure room after finishing the Aladdin themed room on the same evening!
We previously fell in love with the Alice in Puzzleland room which made us crave for MORE. We are hoping to return some time soon for the other escape rooms and/or the scavenger hunt. Kudos to Bee again, and amazing job to the Escape Hunt West End team for such creative puzzles and engaging themes 🤩 Sincerely, the Fried Brains gang...
