Read moreWe went for teppanyaki for dinner with a few friends on Thursday night. The restaurant has two seatings. One at 5.30pm and 7.30pm. We went for the latter. Note, the chef starts only once everyone has arrived for the entire teppanyaki table area, not just your group, so be on time. The teppanyaki area seats around 12 people so you'll want to book in advance. You can choose which menu you want on the night and the good news is you don't have to all have the same menu. Even within your own group. Our meal started off with miso soup and salad. Then gyooza, followed by salmon, lamb chops and fried rice. The food was all delicious! The chef was very friendly and professional. He does a few things during the night to be entertaining. For example one person from each group got to try cutting the egg omelette, and then we all had to try catch egg omelette with our mouth when the chef threw it. I felt it was fun and not tacky.
