Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tepanyaki Koya, the best teppanyaki restaurant in Brisbane, and I can confidently say that it was an amazing experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly exceeded all expectations, providing a culinary journey that left a lasting impression.

First and foremost, the staff at Tepanyaki Koya delivered A1 service throughout the evening. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The attentiveness and professionalism of the staff were exceptional. They were always available to cater to any request or answer any questions, making me feel like a valued guest from the very beginning.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the talented chef, Steven. His skills and artistry in the teppanyaki kitchen were nothing short of impressive. With each flip of the spatula and each precise slice of the knife, Steven showcased his culinary expertise and created a memorable dining experience. His seamless performance combined with his ability to interact with the guests made the evening both entertaining and engaging.

The menu at Tepanyaki Koya offered a wide array of delectable dishes that were bursting with flavor. From the sizzling meats and seafood to the perfectly seasoned vegetables, each item on the menu was prepared to perfection. The chef's meticulous attention to detail was evident in every bite, and the quality of the ingredients was superb.

What truly sets Tepanyaki Koya apart is their dedication to providing a truly immersive and interactive dining experience. The special touches added an extra layer of delight to the evening. The personalized recommendations, explanations of each dish, and the interactive nature of teppanyaki cooking allowed for a unique and engaging experience. It was fascinating to witness the culinary artistry unfold right before my eyes.

The ambiance of Tepanyaki Koya was inviting and sophisticated. The sleek and modern decor, combined with the intimate seating arrangements, created a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The open kitchen design added to the overall excitement, as guests could witness the mastery of the chef's culinary techniques.

In conclusion, Tepanyaki Koya in Brisbane is a true gem for teppanyaki enthusiasts. The exceptional service provided by the staff, led by the talented chef Steven, was remarkable. The tantalizing flavors, the interactive cooking experience, and the attention to detail all contributed to a truly memorable evening. If you're seeking an amazing dining experience filled with incredible food and top-notch service, Tepanyaki Koya is the place to be. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning for another...

We went for teppanyaki for dinner with a few friends on Thursday night. The restaurant has two seatings. One at 5.30pm and 7.30pm. We went for the latter. Note, the chef starts only once everyone has arrived for the entire teppanyaki table area, not just your group, so be on time. The teppanyaki area seats around 12 people so you'll want to book in advance. You can choose which menu you want on the night and the good news is you don't have to all have the same menu. Even within your own group. Our meal started off with miso soup and salad. Then gyooza, followed by salmon, lamb chops and fried rice. The food was all delicious! The chef was very friendly and professional. He does a few things during the night to be entertaining. For example one person from each group got to try cutting the egg omelette, and then we all had to try catch egg omelette with our mouth when the chef threw it. I felt it was fun and not tacky. It was just the right amount. I'd go again. Great to do with friends and family. Dining with entertainment. Probably a good date night option too. The wines aren't anything exciting so it would be good if they could list something of higher quality or allow BYO wine. The sake we had was nice and not expensive. All up we spent $170 per couple including...

Rolled in at 730 on a Wednesday without a booking and was kindly looked after, got the teppanyaki I so desired however I get the impression you should make reservations just fyi. The chefs and waitresses are so kind and humble, the chef in particlar was a real highlight for me, just a nice dude whos good at his job and is grateful to be there, has good aim with the eggs too. Food was 10/10 and I will be returning as soon as I can. I cannot recommend this place enough, and at 60 bucks for the menu I got, its relativley cheap imo. Also, has Kirin Ichiban and and good selection of sake. Just, make a reservation and go...

I ordered the Hana meal and it was great value for $62. The karaage, prawns, scallops, salmon and fillet steak were superb. Chef Steven was also very entertaining. He played a bit of game with everyone and prepared a special surprise to guests who were celebrating an occasion. The waiters provided excellent service. I appreciate that I didn't have to call them to refill my sesame sauce and water jug. We will be back next time!

Absolutely recommend, particularly for a special occasion. This is a very intimate tepenyaki and the chef is so friendly, talented and engages everyone. The waitresses were also so friendly and very attentive. The food is simple yet amazing quality, fresh and the chef prepares it with sauces and dressings that it is so divine to eat. The banquets are very well priced. We will definitely return - ありがと
