Wonderful Midweek Dinner Experience at Newfarm Curry House We had the pleasure of dining at Newfarm Curry House on a Wednesday evening, and it was a delightful experience from the moment we stepped in. The restaurant presented a very clean and welcoming atmosphere — the tables were well-organized, the space was tidy, and the overall ambiance gave off a relaxed and cozy vibe, perfect for an enjoyable dinner. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the front-of-house staff. The lady attending to us was extremely professional, courteous, and welcoming. She quickly arranged a table for us and offered helpful suggestions from the menu with a bright and genuine smile. Her friendly approach and attentive service truly elevated our dining experience — thank you for the excellent hospitality. For our meal, we ordered a variety of dishes, including: • Momo (Dumplings): These were cooked to perfection — juicy on the inside with a great texture and a flavorful dipping sauce. A definite must-try for momo lovers. • Wednesday Night Special Tandoori Chicken: At $16, this dish was a highlight of the evening. The chicken was beautifully marinated and perfectly cooked — tender, flavorful, and served with a fresh side salad and sauce. The portion size was impressive and great value for money. • Butter Chicken: This classic dish did not disappoint in terms of flavor. The chicken was tender and the portion generous. The curry was slightly thicker than expected, but the rich, buttery taste still made it a satisfying dish overall. • Chicken Curry: Another solid choice — the curry was well-balanced, tasted fresh, and had a comforting homemade feel. • Cheese and Garlic Naan: One of the best items of the night. The naan was soft, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. It was fresh out of the tandoor and complemented the curries beautifully. Highly recommended. • Mango Kulfi: We ended our meal on a sweet note with the kulfi, and it was a fantastic choice. Creamy, rich in mango flavor, and well presented — at $6, it was a great portion and very satisfying dessert. Overall, we were very impressed by the quality of food, professional service, and the warm atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes generous. While there’s always room for tiny improvements (such as the butter chicken curry consistency), everything else exceeded expectations. We will definitely return and won’t hesitate to recommend Newfarm Curry House to friends and family looking for a great Indian/Nepali dining experience in Brisbane. Thank you to the team for a wonderful evening!

I had an extraordinary dining experience at New Farm Curry House. Service and attention to detail are outstanding at this restaurant. Since I walked in, I was treated with honor as an honored guest. I received exceptional attention during my meal. The waitstaff constantly checked in on the quality and hotness of each dish. The restaurant prides itself on exceptional dining experiences. I enjoyed the mango lassi the most during my visit. Even though it appears modestly sized, this drink perfectly compliments the spices with rich, thick flavors. It's a must-try at New Farm Curry House. Excellence was consistent. It was evident in all menu items, from appetizers to desserts, that the chef was passionate about authentic flavors. There were options for every palate. We had an unforgettable dining experience not only because of the cuisine, but also because of the ambiance. No matter if you're celebrating a special occasion or indulging on a night out, you're certain to enjoy New Farm Curry House. My heartfelt recommendation goes out to anyone seeking a top-notch Indian dining experience. Known for its outstanding service, mouthwatering food, and warm atmosphere, this restaurant stands out. This culinary oasis will leave any visitor eager for more.

Lovely welcoming and friendly greeting for our booking. Sat down to beautiful authentic Indian plates and cups. Bought us on rotation cold water. After ordering they brought us complimentary papadums , which was delicious. We had the Chefs signature dish lamb and cashews, they asked if we wanted it mild, medium or hot. We got mild and it was not too hot in spice, the lamb was tender and fell apart in our mouths and the curry was creamy, hot well presented with a radish, herbs and edible flowers on top, and devine. We also ordered the naan bread with garlic and cheese, again top notch. Dessert we had the gulabs which was exactly as described on the menu and couldn’t fault it, the perfect way to end our meal. They weren’t in a rush for us to leave once finished. Truly beautiful deco, food and service and will 100% be back.
