Long time local of East Brisbane reporting in.. Ever since Raj’s Palace moved we’ve been crying out for a great Indian takeaway. Today we found it. KurryKingdom has recently relocated from StLucia to the old Lemak site right next to Sushi Kotobuki, and we couldn’t be happier. My mate and I were keen for a light lunch and we hit the jackpot. I ordered the butter chicken and rice lunch special ($15) and the tandoori wings ($16). Humberto, my dining companion, ordered the tandoori chicken wrap (wrapped in a naan). His pics didn’t do the wrap justice so I didn’t add them. We were stoked. Venson, was kind enough to gift a complimentary dessert made by his Mum. A gulab jamun, and it was delicious. Thanks Venson’s Mum. Honestly. Amazing food, great spice and a fantastic host. So pleased we found this restaurant. Go and check it out. The food is spectacular. Welcome to the...

Feeling lazy so jumped into the apps to find something for dinner. Kurry Kingdom popped up. Briyani, Lamb Saag, Chicken madras and a garlic naan later and we were a happy family! The flavors were great, particularly the fresh herbs throughout the briyani. Got a bonus raita which was delicious. I’ve just been in India and it reminded me of some of the tasty meals I ate there. I feel bad I haven’t noticed this little shop tucked away in East Brisbane before. I actually walked into the wrong shop for takeaway initially. Now I know it’s there I will be back to try the wrap...

Went here for my brothers birthday last minute and it was a great decision. The young man who owned the restaurant was very nice and provided great service. The food was amazing as expected, I’m not that educated but another patron said it was the best Palak Paneer he’d had in Australia. We got the Palak paneer, the butter chicken, and a nice lamb curry with a side of garlic naan and spinach and cheese naan, and I have to say I agree with old mate at the restaurant the food was perfect. At the end when we went to pay we had a nice chat with the owner solidifying the...

We previously had takeaway from Kurry Kingdom. On our first dining in experience, we found street parking immediately, probably as we got there at 8pm (on a Friday). We got prompt, friendly service with a smile, great food and value for money. Ordered cassava chips, which had an Indian twist to it. Also had chicken saagwal, lamb biryani, Indo-Fijian goat curry, mango lassi, naan breads and rice. The photos are from our second visit. Pakora, lamb saag and chicken biryani were delicious and table service was excellent. Again, it was worth the half hour drive and we will be back.

I LOVE!!! Had dinner at Kurry Kingdom and wow, it was sooo good! 🤤 The Butter Chicken was rich and flavorful, and the Garlic Naan was perfectly soft and buttery. We also tried the Gulab Jamun for dessert, a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth! The chef, Venson, and staff member Borko were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Excellent food and service!! Honestly 10/10, and we left feeling so satisfied and full. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and tasty Indian food!
