A fantastic place with quality, authentic Vietnamese food at affordable prices! Lettuce eat is run by an incredibly caring family whose hospitality is head above shoulders. I have eaten there twice in the last few weeks for dinner, trying the Pho and Banh Xeo. Absolutely loved both dishes. Highly recommend it to everyone.

A fantastic place with quality, authentic Vietnamese food at affordable prices! Lettuce eat is run by an incredibly caring family whose hospitality is head above shoulders. I have eaten there twice in the last few weeks for dinner, trying the Pho and Banh Xeo. Absolutely loved both dishes. Highly recommend it to everyone.

I visit the Lettuce Eat for lunch on average a couple of times a week, as I work locally and have been doing so for many years now. Not only is the product quality exceptional, with the food always made fresh and with great variety in their menu, but Sam and her team consistently provide customer service that is second to none. All of their team are so friendly, efficient and happy to accommodate all special requests. However Sam in particular, really goes the extra mile to provide excellent service to her customers and as a result, she is a much loved member in the local community and I would even say the Lettuce Eat has become a local institution in West End! Delicious food, excellent value and incredible customer service ā€“ easily one of my favourite businesses...

These guys have good food but my other half tells me that one of their people does NOT use gloves or even tongs when handling food. I went and had a look and true enough...lady handling food and selecting items out of cold trays without any gloves and no use of tongs. Excess meat and salad not needed for sandwich gets handled straight back into the food tray. This is after touching all kinds of things including cash and cards from lunch shoppers.

Pretty sure this is illegal not to mention...a real health hazard. Other half wrote to them.Let's see if the poor food-handling behaviour changes. Shame because sandwiches I got from there were really good. Have these people NOT been following local news stories in Australia about food poisoning...

Im not one to leave reviews unless the restaurant merits it. Wanna know what I love about Lettuce Eat? If I feel like a Thai Green Curry on Wednesday or Chicken Boscaiola on Monday...the Chef makes it for me. How cool is that!

First time I went there I said out of the blue "I really feel like Shepherds Pie". Chef Rob says "pick a day and I'll make it for you. HAH GOTTA LOVE IT!! No need to visit today coz its Roast Pork Wednesday tomorrow & mmm mmm mmm I feel a Roast Pork sanga comin on...or maybe I'll have a roll...or maybe a toss salad.

Arghhh too many options...thats probably the only downside to Lettuce Eat...too many dang options! Keep up the good...
