Table 26 West End — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Food was pretty decent . However what we were put off was the service. We were seated at table 11 next to the freezer which they kept opening and closing which we understood but taking the trash bags out from the kitchen from the front repeatedly while we are eating .A waitress was busy organizing someone elses table that she kept lifting the seat next to us to keep checking for something it bothered us as it is one connected seat. The washroom door was just left open and even after requesting to be mindful no care taken. The ambience felt unhygienic and we couldnt have a good time with friends. Our table was just at a very uncomfortable place and no care taken by service staff.. date of visit 22/10 so cameras can be checked too for validity...

Mould!! Purchased a Danish and coffee today only to discover the Danish was extremely stale and tasted funny. On closer inspection could see multiple white spots of MOULD on the Danish. Felt sick as I had certainly eaten some. Returned it and was refunded by the staff member (who was rather lacking in friendliness when I first ordered but upon my return was apologetic and made much more of an effort). This is a food safety risk, particularly as I am breastfeeding. I plan to lodge a report.

The other disappointing part of today was that I had elected not to go to table 26 for the past 12 months or so after the barista very rudely refused to make my coffee order when pregnant (decaf one shot, coffee other shot). Should have stuck with avoiding...

Greetings from Nairobi-Kenya. My wife and I had wonderful time along with my sister and brother in law at the newly opened and very well managed Table 26 Restaurant on 30 Duncan Street Brisbane. The food was simply superb and service was excellent, caring and friendly. We enjoyed our delightful and memorable dining experience at this fine restaurant which offers variety of wines, top quality coffee and delicious sweet dishes. It has nice atmosphere. This quality restaurant is very good for celebrating any happy occasions. It was indeed worth a visit and we look forward to dine again here during our next holiday in Brisbane.
