Two stars because the item ultimately got to the recipient that I ordered the gift for and the gift was tasty and presentable. Stars taken off as I put in a business address but they assumed that it was a hospital and so they decided that the delivery could be made after 5pm without confirming with me. They made contact to try to rectify the situation but instead of attempting to make the delivery before 5pm when I informed them that business will close at 5pm, they tried to reassure me that it will get there by 4.45pm initially, which was impossible as it was raining and peak hour traffic (based on the other locations that the delivery person had planned prior to making the last stop at my recipientâs workplace). They then said if the recipient can wait at the business until 5.30pm they should be able to get the gift over by then. And as I was trying to discuss with the recipient if the business was still the best place to drop off the gift (which was not ideal as it was meant to be a surprise), the delivery person decided that I wasnât responsive enough and proceeded to make additional trips which were not on the initial planned route to a much further detour. The gift eventually made it to the recipient at 6.30pm.
Granted the team at edible blooms and the delivery person were very responsive and were attempting to reassure me that the gift would definitely get to the recipient, but it did spoil the surprise and got to the recipient much later than anticipated, and the recipient had to hang around at work 90 minutes after close of business time. The situation became extremely messy with lots of interruptions for myself at work as well as interrupting the recipient as well.
And instead of changing the route initially at 3pm when I first flagged the problem, the team was just constantly stalling by making false reassurances that it should get there on time before 5pm which was going to impossible based on the delivery route and traffic at the time.
Overall great gift, tasty and presentable; and very responsive via text but poor customer service. Would recommend only if there is no time constraints to your delivery and if you donât mind the gift arriving much later than expected. If itâs to be sent to a business then it could be a hit and miss because they only start the delivery...
Read moreI recently placed an order over the phone with Edible Blooms for a delivery to be made the night before my Cousinâs wedding for her to celebrate with her fiancĂ©e. I provided multiple contact details and they had my email as well. Well, the wedding came and went with no delivery and the bride and groom delayed their dinner plans as I was advised delivery would be between 3-5PM with no later than 7PM on a Friday. I then left Edible Blooms a voicemail and a detailed email and they never replied. I tried to call them back and couldnât get through so I dialed to be kept in the queue .. no call back. I then called them back again and finally got through. I was advised that one of the items in my delivery was out of stock and therefore they had decided not to deliver anything, but no one had ever communicated this to me or my cousin from 5 days ago. I am grateful that the second lady I spoke to took the time to really make sure that the delivery would actually take place (she is the only reason that this is even worth a single star), but I spent literally hours on the phone trying to organise a simple delivery. The only compensation I was offered was an extra $10 of chocolates in an alternate bouquet instead of a box as it was the only size available.
In summary, I will not be using Edible Blooms services again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone else due to gross incompetence.
Furthermore, after reading other one star reviews, receiving an âIâm so sorryâ reply at some stage really will not cut it as youâve ruined the night before my Cousinâs wedding ⊠you canât take that back...
Read moreI wish I could give ZERO Stars !!!!!
My daughter (whom lives in New Zealand) ordered and paid for a Mother's Day Hamper to be delivered to me here in Perth. It was suppose to be delivered on Fri 7th May. I called on Fri to ask for an ETA, they said it had been dispatched and would arrive by 5pm or 7pm at the latest, nothing turned up.... I waited until 10am Sat morning but still nothing so I called them, AGAIN. They then told me that it had gotten lost in transit and that they had organised a replacement to be delivered to me by THE END OF NEXT WEEK!!!
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
I then replied " Mother's day is tomorrow, why would I want it a WEEK LATER"???
Why was my daughter not informed WHEN they noticed that it had been lost in transit? They had her email details... Would they have even notified and informed my daughter of the replacement or would we just be waiting like dogs? 3.Why is it that I had to contact the shop TWICE to see what was happening??? The shop is only in Subiaco and I am in Morley, could they not have given us other options or thought of other options? I could've picked it up myself Lack of communication, no consideration and no thought of customer service satisfaction, VERY DISSAPPOINTED to say the least, Thank you for ruining my...
